Let’s talk about Philadelphia Plant Based Soft Cream Cheese, also known as the greatest vegan soft cheese on the market. Yes, I said it. And I will stand by it with the confidence of someone spreading it thickly on a bagel at 7 a.m. This stuff is ridiculously good. Creamy? Absolutely. Smooth? Like velvet doing yoga. Tangy? Just enough to make your taste buds sit up and pay attention. It’s so close to the original Philadelphia that I had a brief identity crisis while eating it. I’ve slathered it on toast, dunked crackers into it, dolloped it on baked potatoes, and may or may not have eaten a spoonful straight from the tub (for research). Every single time, it delivers perfection. No weird aftertaste. No grainy texture. No “this is fine… for vegan cheese” energy. It’s just delicious, full stop. If you’ve been searching for the holy grail of vegan soft cheeses, congratulations… you’ve found it. 10/10. Spread it, love it, and try not to finish the tub in one sitting. 😋
