Bought this to replace one which stopped working There is a noticeable improving the picture quality with this new one. Absolutely delighted so far. Delivery was prompt as you come to expect with Amazon.

I initially got this for when we were staying at a lodge because I know that the service was great but the Wi-Fi was shocking so we were unable to use the smart TV features. I had no issues with this at all, yes some of the apps you are unable to use because it doesn't allow for streaming but this is something down to the apps and not this product which is why I still think it deserves 5*s. The quality was great, you're able to charge and use it at the same time and there isn't any sound issues that I found when using this. I would suggest doing your research beforehand to figure what apps you can use this with but if you are able to do what you wanted with this then this is a 100% good quality purchase

This works fine AS ADVERTISED, but make sure you’re happy with the restrictions. In particular, note that you can’t stream Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and many other content providers because they use a technology called HDCP which is specifically designed to stop copying of content as it travels across connections. In fact the only TV streaming app that works for me is BBC IPlayer. Assuming you’re using a supported app, you should have no problems

This gets surprisingly warm and I don't understand why. As soon as it gets extremely warm, the image starts to get laggier and laggier and I've had it completely freezed before where even unplugging it made no difference as if it had taken the input image and put it on the screen and was no longer able to take any more information. It also requires an additional power input to properly work, and that's not powered by USB-C so you will need another apple cabl It's fine if you want something just to duplicate your screen, but you can't watch your Netflix with this, you can't use this for high speed activity like gaming, and you definitely can't use this as a single adaptor on its own.

Worked well for 4 months then just stopped working. Replaced with a genuine Apple one. Buy cheap, buy twice. :(

Auf der Suche nach einem Adapter, um ein iPhone 12 Pro an einen Fernseher per HDMI anzuschließen bin auf diesen Adapter gestoßen. Vorher hatte ich schon ein anderes Produkt, das aber nach kurzer Zeit seinen Dienst eingestellt hat und auch mit zusätzlicher App des Herstellers (Meldung, dass der Adapter nicht erkannt wird) nicht zu einer Mitarbeit zu bewegen war. Dieser Adapter hier funktioniert ohne App, einfach so. Er kann sowohl mit externer Stromversorgung, als auch ohne Stromversorgung betrieben werden. Allerdings verringert der Betrieb ohne Netzteil die Nutzungsdauer, da der Adapter dann zusätzlich Strom aus dem iPhone bezieht. Daher hier meine Empfehlung: für längere Sitzungen immer mit externem Netzteil betreiben. Der Adapter wird im Betrieb auch nicht unangenehm warm. Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut. Daher, nach 3 Wochen Betrieb, eine eindeutige Empfehlung.

Für meinen Einsatz gut geeignet (YouTube auf Leinwand schauen und Power Point Präsentationen spiegeln). Leider kann man hiermit vom iPad kein Netflix oder Amazon Prime auf einer Leinwand oder Fernseher übertragen. Deshalb einen Stern Abzug.
