These are great for short hair. Quick to heat up. Great hair straightener, smooths hair, great for curling too. GHD is a quality product.

I’ve recently gone from long hair to short and needed straighteners to keep my hair looking tidy. These being narrower than most mean they are ideal for short hair and fringes. They heat up extremely quickly and make a little sound within seconds to say they’ve reached the correct temperature. They have a long lead so are ideal to reach a mirror while in use. I am able to straighten my hair easily in a couple minutes. So much better and smoother in use than another brand of straightener that I used up until now. I’m delighted with my purchase.

Like the size and the little plastic clip. It makes a sound after 20 secs after it’s on although it’s not super hot, just warm. It works well to make beach waves but nothing particularly impressive if you pass it on after the blow dry.

My daughter owns a set of ghd stylers and had strongly recommended that I buy a pair suggesting that I order the mini set as I have short hair, hers is long. My daughter-in-law is a hairdresser and we have often wondered why my hair is straight on one side but very curly on the other, hence the reason for wanting to purchase some stylers in the hope that they would give me an even hairstyle. Having read the review about this product arriving in a battered box I was a little hesitant in wanting to buy this product from Amazon but as both my husband and I have ordered many things from Amason before, all of which have arrived in perfect condition, I decided to go ahead and order a set. Within minutes of the arrival of my package, just 3 days after I placed my order and in a Perfect Packaging Condition, suitable to give as a gift, I was plugging the ghd stylers into the socket, to my great surprise and delight within just 30 seconds a bleep was telling me that they were ready to use. How amazing was that, just 30 seconds. As soon as I started to use the ghd stylers my hair lost its will to curl all over the place and for the first time in years I have an even hairstyle, and the absolute bonus is that I can also curl my straight hair to give myself a curly all over look, magic. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who is in the least bit concerned having read any previous `damaged box' reviews, Amazon was also the cheapest place to buy them, so go on try them and become as pleased as I am that I went ahead and ordered some. Just what I wanted for short hair, a little pricey but worth it. Well made, light weight, narrow plates, quick heating.
