I LOVE this sugar dispenser! I use it for my Sugar In The Raw turbinado cane sugar and it works great! The lid opens when you pour and closes completely when turned back upright, making it totally ant proof. That’s a bonus out in the country where I live during the springtime! Plus, it matches perfectly with my salt and pepper dispensers and my appliances.

I was concerned if this would work for raw sugar since the crystals are a bit bigger than white sugar , I wanted a smaller sugar container for my coffee/tea bar since the one I was using was a huge canister. I seen these many years ago but they always seemed cheap to me & a family member had one of those cheaper ones like you see at restaurants & she always had to tap the sugar jar on her counter due to the sugar getting moisture in it & it caked , and I wanted some thing better . So I seen this& read the reviews and liked the idea that the lid closed itself & prevent moisture in , so I took a chance . Well it is about 2 weeks I have it & I am very happy with it , yes my raw sugar flows easy and the lid flips up when tilted & then closes so you don't have to make sure you closed it . No moisture at all no tapping to loosen sugar , fits right in with my Keurig also love the heavy glass and can see how much sugar is in the jar , it is smaller than some I seen but it holds enough for my family and dosn't take up a lot of room & helps keep the bar clutter free , I am very happy with it .

We bought this sugar pourer to replace our old-school, spring-loaded glass one. The plastic finally broke where the spring was attached. To be fair, it lasted over 30 years, so it definitely earned its retirement!This new pourer is a great replacement.
