Works a treat!
Made a massive impact to thermals. It was clear after opening and removing my heatsink that the paste and liquid metal was inferior. I made the decision to totally get rid of liuqid metal and try this PTM on both CPU and GPU ...oh my what a difference it has made .Laptop runs well now and is noticeably cooler and fans don't run loud anymore. Great product and will recommend to others

Very impressed!
My hp envy was hitting 97c whilst under clocked. This thermal pad has allowed me to max out the settings on throttle stop 71c under intense load. Amazing stuff!

It's performing well on my predator neo. Better than liquid metal.
This is performing well. It had liquid metal on cpu and thermal paste on gpu, I changed it both with phase changing PTM7950 . Now temps are a lot better, especially on cpu . The liquid metal went on the sides and on center it was dry. On vram and pd I've used tg putty thermal paste. Acer Predator helios neo 4060 , i7 13650hx.

Fiddly Magic!
Magic! I'll probably never go back to thermal paste again, probably....... Could have been a nightmare to apply but thank science for blutack! My method was as follows: Keep the PTM7950 in the fridge for at least 20 minutes then cut to size and apply stickers or sticky tabs (you get ten with green tabs in the box) to the edge of the side you want to peel the protective film off, I used two sticky tabs. Stick the other side to a flat surface using blutack and then peel of the protective film on the topside ever so slowly and evenly using the tabs. If it starts to ruck don't panic just stop and try the other tab. Try and get a nice even slow removal going. Once the plastic film is removed from the PTM remove the bottom of the pad (the side with the protective film on) gently from the blutack without touching the now exposed top surface of the pad. Apply the now exposed top side of the pad to the chip you want to protect. You only get one go at this so make sure it's exactly where you want it before gently pressing it evenly into place. Then once you've stuck it to the chip you can remove the last piece of protective film using the same method ofc minus the blutack. Very fiddly but with blutack I got it right first go. The end result my 9800X3D never goes over 60â when playing wh3, sm2, cyberpunk 2077 and other triple AAA rated games. Results may vary so good luck!

Lovely stuff.
Ordered and received last week, application was a bit fiddly but thats probably down to me. It worked a treat on my four year old laptop which was normally around 97 centigrade CPU and 86 on the GPU, it's now gone down over twenty degrees whilst gaming. The kit contains everything you need but no instructions so you would have to do a bit of research beforehand. Would recommend to anyone who has a hot computer that the are concerned about.

Solves thermal paste pump out issues.
My GPU had pump out issues which would cause the hotspot temps to get higher and higher over time, with the worst being over 100C, after applying the thermal pad my GPU temps have been perfectly stable for over a month with no signs of the hotspot temp rising.

Works as expected and reduces temperatures noticeably
I had thermal problems with my EVGA 3070 with the XC3 cooler due to using Arctic MX-6(not the best direct die thermal paste and i learned the hards way) and was oberving on avg 76-77C even with an aggressive fan curve. After installing this PT7950, my temps dropped to an avg of 65-68 instanlty which I am very impressed. While the extra stuff in the box is very unnecessarry, the thermal pad works like a charm.

La VR ( realtà Virtuale ) stressa non poco le GPU ( schede grafiche ), dopo tanto cercare ho deciso di acquistare questo PAD, é un " tappetino" di 2,5 mm. di spessore, bisogna prestare attenzione nel distenderlo sull'Hot Spot della GPU, ma con un poco di accortezza ho terminato il lavoro. Quello che vedevo di temperatura dell'HOT SPOT con GPU depotenziata a -10% della potenza era; 95° centigradi, ora a lavoro ultimato e ad una potenza pari al 100% ( parliamo di 277 Watts ) la temperatura é scesa a 75°c, finalmente posso liberare potenza della GPU, il PAD fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Le cinque stelle sono per il risultato ottenuto

I use a Dell G15 with an i5-11400H and RTX 3050 Ti, so heat is basically part of my daily life đ Anyone owning this laptop knows how quickly thermals can spiral out of control under load. I was previously using Arctic MX-6, reapplied just 3 months ago, yet CPU temperatures were still terrifying. During gaming, rendering, or running multiple Docker containers, my CPU would instantly hit 100°C, while drawing barely ~55W. That meant heavy throttling and serious performance loss. ** Why PTM7950? ** I was honestly skeptical at first. Endless Reddit threads Dozens of YouTube videos Constant warnings that âAmazon PTM7950 is fakeâ Still, after enough research, I decided to take the leap of faith. ******** Results (This Is Where Things Get Crazy) ******** After switching to PTM7950: ---- CPU Temperature Improvements ---- 15â20°C drop instantly Idle: 45â50°C (earlier this was close to 90°C under light load like YouTube) Full load: Never crosses 90â91°C No more aggressive throttling Sustained performance finally unlocked ---- GPU Temperature Improvements ---- GPU already ran fairly cool, but still saw a 5â6°C reduction More stable thermals during long gaming sessions ********** Desktop Users â Should You Care? ********** Desktops already have: Bigger heatsinks Better airflow So gains may be smaller â but even a few degrees reduction is never a bad thing. Muy buen producto, cumple su cometido, pero hay que dejarlo enfriar en el frigorifico unos 15 minutos antes de aplicarlo por que a temperatura ambiente es dificil ponerlo, pero con cuidado se pone bien y baja unos 10 grados la temperatura de la CPU, en GPU no es mucho, pero tambien cumple.

J'ai utilisé ce pad pour remplacer de la pùte MX-6 qui avait déjà besoin de changement aprÚs 3 mois. La différence est perceptible (de 78 à 71°C à 100%) sur ma 3070 Ti, et devrait théoriquement s'améliorer légÚrement avec le temps. Pour l'installation je recommande de mettre le pad au frigo le temps de démonter la carte graphique, il était trÚs facile à détacher du film protecteur ainsi. Je recommande !

It works great specially in a gaming laptop, their is around 10 degrees difference in my laptop cpu(i7-10870H) max temp before and after, and for GPU 3060 was around 8 degree. So if you have a gaming laptop, but this and for get about changing thermal paste for like 5 years +plus get more performance out of system with cooler temp.
