Comfortable and excellent value for the price
Excellent ear phones for an incredible bargain (got at 50% off). Have only used in-ear headphones before, and they were never comfortable and never stayed in my ears no matter what I tried (all the different size tips, over the ear versions, etc.). These stay in place, are so comfortable I don’t even remember I have them on, and the sound quality is excellent. They are very customizable for sound and control functionality. Can be a little annoying because the controls are touch-sensitive, so it is hard to put them on without accidentally touching the controls. If you want a want a simple plug-and-play, these aren’t it. But the minor annoyance is worth the comfort and sound quality. The company offers many features through the app. I will likely never use any of them (I just want simple ear buds), but nice to have the option if I ever change my mind.

Good sound, User Friendly App, Easy Connect, Excellent Support
I much prefer the open ear design instead of inner ear canal rubber buds. These are comfortable with adjustable ear hooks and easy to connect. Sound quality is not fabulous, but good, as expected for moderately priced technology. You can download their App to your phone if you want to customize all the options like prerecorded background sounds like oceans and forests and white noise. But these connect fine to devices that do not have a User Interface, like a device that connects to a TV audio out. Works great with Alexa too. I had a Bluetooth connection issue at first, contacted customer support and they were excellent helping me out. Turned out the problem was on my end, the buds worked great. The one minor critique is that the case does not have a battery level indicator LED.

Excellent open ear set, comfort, sound, & good value at times.
Highly recommend these V20i Sound Core in comfort, clarity and are available at times as a good value for the quality. I originally received this model as a gift and was very impressed and bought a second set for my wife whom loved mine! The adjustable ear piece is a plus and so far seem to have really good battery life. Their SoundCore App for iPhone is one of the best I’ve used if needed. The iPhone app upgraded my headset firmware and you can also adjust the touch controls to your liking on both ear pieces. Note: Tho works on my iPhone fine, “Currently” this app isn’t available for download on Windows PC’s in the United States region. Our headsets also work BlueTooth connected with both the iPhone & my Windows11 PC; playing either takes precedence to the headset. I particularly like that the open ear type also works well for those who also need to hear some of what’s around you. And, for me no long term ear itch from an in the ear bud. These are great!

Almost perfect...
Connectivity: Pairing was easy and straight forward; audio quality is great (particularly once equalizer was adjusted to my taste. Oh, and for those new to Anker Soundcore products, you WILL need to download the APP to access and use full features); they fit perfectly fine around my ears with no danger of falling off/out even when I vigorously shake my head; sound quality did NOT alter once I put on my knit winter cap as regularly occurs with standard earbuds due to the buds inside the ear canal being depressed further inside or otherwise shifting around; while these may not be 'noise cancelling' they do still drown out plenty of ambient noise; volume is great! That does it for the Pros. Cons: Just one. There is NO WAY to determine the battery life of the CASE! In the app it shows the battery life of the individual buds. Great! But there is nothing for the case. I've got a pair of Soundcore SportX20 and these DO have an indicator for the case along with the buds. So I KNOW the technology exists. Why'd yo guys skimp on this feature? This is why I had to dock you One Star for this lapse. Otherwise, great product! Edit: Jan 2, 2026. Okay, so after I scanned the QR code for the on-line manual, I learned that the battery life reading for the case can be interpreted thus…when you re-install the ear buds into the case if the case light is STEADY, then there is 46% to 100% power. However, if the light is blinking then there remains anywhere from 45% to 0% power. So, if it’s blinking you may as well plug in and recharge. That’s something, but I still prefer a more accurate reading instead of a range.

Favorite Budget Earbuds I Have Ever Owned (and I've owned a lot of them)
Comfort: This is where the Soundcore V20i Anker Open-Ear Headphones shine the brightest for me. I am someone who absolutely HATES the feel of an earbud jammed in my ear. They usually make me think of the earworms from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. These sit comfortably outside the ear canal and are easily adjustable to your ear shape. I honestly don't know how it took so long for someone to come up with a design with this, but I'm glad they did. Sound quality: Exceptional sound for the price range. Much better than my in-ear JLab earbuds that these replace. I don't feel that I need to tweak the treble and bass. The default settings are fine to my ears. Are these earbuds you want to use to mix your band's studio recordings? Obviously, no. They will be fine for listening to music or an audiobook while doing chores and exercising, though. I also don't have much trouble hearing my wife or kid when they call for me. Verdict: These charge fast enough, fit exceptionally well, and produce plenty good enough sound for my needs. I think they are an excellent value and addition for a budget-friendly auditory life.

Confortable!!!
I use these open-ear headphones daily while working, and also at home for Zoom classes lasting about 3 hours, and they perform perfectly every time. I’ve had them for over a year, and they still work like new which really shows their durability and quality. The Bluetooth connection is excellent. At work I can move long distances away from my phone and they remain connected without any issues. The sound is clear, the bass is good. The most important thing is they’re also comfortable wear for long periods. Very happy with the purchase!!!

These are a "Must Buy"
I was looking for an inexpensive set of over the ear headphones and these are a hit. The sound is incredible with strong bass. The fit is so comfortable and they stay tight during my workouts at the gym. Out of the box I was worried that they did not have one feature I really wanted. Oh no, you just need to download the Soundcore app, add your device and you can customize the touch controls. Battery life seems good, I have used the for 7 hours without having to recharge. You can see the battery level in the App to know when you need to charge them. Here are the Pros and Cons. Pros: Great sound with the ability to customize the sound profile. Comfortable with a tight fit. Great value for the price. The app offers numerous options to customize your listening experience Cons: None. I highly recommend these full function customizable headphones at such a low price.

Lightweight but sound is not great
I am not too impressed with these but probably won't return them. The main great thing about these is the "over-the-ear system" - these really hold securely and yet almost feel like they are not there. They are much easier to wear than any headset I have tried and the sound is loud enough. They pair via bluetooth OK but you have to charge them up first. They arrived discharged so they would not connect initially but after I let them sit in the case plugged in for a while they worked fine. I am giving them three stars (and that's generous) becuase of two issues. The minor issue comes from the fact that the ear retainer can be adjusted to fit different ear shapes and the way this works is that you change the angle between the ear retainer and the bud itself. However, if you want to charge these in the case then you have to reset the angle back to minimal otherwise they don't fit in the case. So basically every time you want to recharge these buds they will lose their fit setting for your ear. Also, because of this issue you can't just throw your earbuds into the case - they won't automatically snap into place and charge. You need to adjust the angle back to minimal every time and then position these buds in the case to make sure they fit. There is a magnetic alingment mechanism in the case for the buds themselves but the retainer piece seems to be silicone and it does not automatically move to fit into the case via magnetic force. But again, this is only a big deal for me but most people likely won't care. The major issue that most will care about is frequency response. You don't have to be an audiophile to know that these buds do not deliver for either low or high frequencies. You can sort of get something that is not offensively bad with some equalizer work but there is no way to make these sound good. If you want to listen to music - pick a different unit. If you want to watch movies and get a real kick from e.g. explosions then pick a different unit. If you want to play games - same story plus there is no way these will deliver any sort of 3D effect even with software which emulates 3D on regular headphones. But if you are on conference calls all day and want a unit that you can forget it's even there then these might do well. If you want to have some sleep music while you catch a nap in the office then these are probably good. I would imagine they should be plenty good for phone calls but I have not tried that. Be aware that these buds are open design and have no active noise cancellation so they won't work e.g. on the plane.
