A good way to go cordless. Sound is quite good out of the box, even without using the app profiles. It doesn't sound like they "boosted the bass" so that is a good thing, IMHO. To my ears the over all sound quality seems to have a slight hint of muddiness to to my ear, but not so much that it is annoying or objectionable. The quality is certainly better than most other headphones that I have listened to. Great features - user replaceable battery and ear pads - but no spare ear pads included :-( You can change almost all of the settings from buttons on the headphones... so no stupid, annoying phone/ipad app is needed... unless you really can't live without one... and then there is an app that you can download. The only way to create different music profiles is to use the app. Synching to my ipad was a snap. Solid BT connection, even at a distance. When you remove the headphones, they automatically pause playing sound. When you put them back on the sound picks up where you left off. It's great that you can set varying degrees of sound transparancy. Full transparency and noise cancelling both work quite well. You can use the volume buttons to move forward and back through track listings. There is a button where you can pause the sound playback. I have a smallish head, and unlike other headphones that I have, these fit well and don't slip forward or off when I bend over. They basically stay put and are fairly comfortale to wear for several hours at a time. The soft plastic ear pads don't breathe and thus contribute to a bit of dampness around my ears, but not enough to be a problem. I haven't tried these headphones for gaming or for making phone calls, but they should be great for those applications due to the built in mic - there is no cheesy looking microphone sticking out on a rubber coated bendable wire. I have had good luck with other Cambridge products in the past and these headphones appear to be following that pattern. Hey Cambridge... can you put a battery strength indicator on the next edition of these headphones?

Great value for the money
I was looking for over the ear replacements for my AirPods Pro’s, after a lot of research someone recommended these to me.For daily driver use, the P100 is a great choice. They aren’t too heavy on the head and they don’t squeeze the head too hard. They come with a nice hard side case, which is nice but could be a little bulky for travel. A slimmer travel option would be a nice addition even if purchased separately. Also included is 2 cables USB-C->USB-C and USB-C->3.5mm.The earcups, made from vegan leather, are pretty comfortable and easily replaceable. They can make my head a little sweaty if it’s a little warm out. I haven’t seen any different materials for these available yet, hoping that changes, either from Cambridge or 3rd party. The sound quality is enjoyable. The app has an adjustable EQ as well. It is a closer sound stage than I would like, but that comes with closed back earphones. I have a set of open back for special situations. I think the sound can be a little on the cooler side, but with some EQ adjustments you can get it where you want it. They are not bass heavy, but I find the bass pretty neutral overall which I prefer. The app has all the settings available including a few layers of ANC and transparency available. There are tactile buttons on the headset as well which I like a lot.Batteries are user serviceable and affordable. I really like this being an advertised feature as well. The battery life is insane. I am very impressed by the life and still have yet to charge mine. The packaging is a simple pull strip and sleeve design. No plastic or twist ties. In fact I reuse the cardboard sleeves for the cables and I love that. There is a lot of environmentally conscious decisions made in the design of these. If that’s important to you, look no further. While I have the ANC can be a little weird I have only noticed that using that 3.5mm cable. It may be a setting on my part, but could also be fixed through updates. So I’m not overly worried about it. There is a card included listing button press control. I need use it more to figure out the best way to use the buttons. Some in app button customizations would be a nice touch as well. For the money I feel these punch a little above their class and don’t get recommended as much as other more popular ANC headphones.
