The reel housing is a bit larger than I expected but given the strength and the length of the cable they had to put all of that somewhere, the housing feels high quality and comes with key loops where one can be used on the clip at the back to be able to attach it to a belt loop for example. The magnet is strong and the retraction force is as advertised. One "problem" is that the retraction speed is quite fast so be mindful of a possibility of a hit from your keys once in a while. Other than that it's really good.

I thought that the clasp on the front looked a little flimsy and it only lasted about 2 days and then broke. I sawed off the clasp with a hacksaw and replaced it with a more substantial keyring on which the keys were hung. now the keys cant fall off the end of the cable unless the cable snaps but it seems reasonably strong

Absolutely amazing piece of equipment. The magnet is incredibly strong and the lenght of wire is reasonable. I highly recommend ! 👍

Initially seemes like a good quality product but after less that 3 months of use the wire has frayed which cut my hand and snagged the lining of my Berghaus jacket.

Very, very heavy duty. I ended up not using it because it was too heavy duty for only my id-badge. But it is very good quality.
