This salt taste fantastic! It is grain size and I sprinkled it in my salad.Pinching the salt turned my finger black and it crunches in your mouth.I like it and it has a nice look to my food.The container is small and I would order it again.

The grains of salt here are too large. I use lava salt as a finishing salt; to top some pasta or to combine with olive oil for dipping bread. With this brand, you get huge chunks of salt and sudden bursts of saltiness. Not for me.

It only takes a tiny pinch of this Black Lava Salt to take your summer tomatoes to a whole new level of flavor. I use it on other things, but LOVE it on fresh produce.
