This does work
This shampoo WILL provide temporary color. I have auburn hair that bleaches out in the sun to become orphan Annie red.. I bought one of the brown shades. I left this on for three or four minutes and it made a difference. It even mitigated my gray. Expensive, but worth it. If you need a solution, buy it and experiment with it.

I LOVE these. I have the Mocha and the Crimson Splash. I used to use the Gemlites in Ruby Red, but it dries my hair out SO badly, even with a good deep conditioning afterward. Because it took a couple regular washes/conditionings to get my hair feeling normal again I would avoid using the Gemlites. The Tressa Watercolors are great. I use them a couple times a week, alternating. I use the Crimson Splash to stain my length, which I get colored a rich brown/magenta, and I use the Mocha when my roots start coming in to dull the gray so it isn't so jarringly noticeable. Definite repurchases. Also, the pricing is better than most of the color depositing options out there.

It works to keep your color from fading
This really does work. I've been using it regularly and my dark blonde haircolor was about 3 to 4 weeks old. I went out of town and didn't use it. When I got home I noticed my color and faded by the sun to a medium blonde. My hair was very dirty so I washed it with a regular shampoo then washed it with this. I used a lot of the Watercolors shampoo and left it in for about 15 minutes. I kinda forgot about it until after I blow dried my hair. Then I remembered how light my hair had been before washing and was amazed at the difference! I was back to a dark blonde and it was very natural looking! I knew it wouldn't color my grey roots but I just use L'oreal spray to covers those. So I am definitely going to keep using this! If it worked a bit faster I would give it 5 stars.

I am giving it a 3 star for brand name as I use a different color. This color just didn't work for me.

Buy this!!!
I wish I would have taken a before and after but BUY THIS! Going back to brown hair is so tedious and it always turns red, and I didn’t want to dye my hair again. This shampoo immediately neutralized all the brass and red tones after one use!
