Definitely worth upgrading all rover plastic coolant pipes to metal when doing the water pump or cooling pipes. When we took my 2017 3.0 supercharged Discovery5 apart, the front coolant pipes were leaking and the rear crossover pipe was weeping. Replaced all of them with metal parts.Be sure you use both of Orings on this part and lube it up so it slides in and doesn't pinch. Under the intake, there is a plastic clip that helps secure this pipe in place. BE SURE that plastic piece is there when you install this. It helps support the pipe and keeps it straight.

Worked as described on Range Rover Sport 5.0 supercharged. Much better part than the original plastic part.

Same as the other water pipes; poor QC and o-rings didn't fit properly. Had to replace them with OEM parts.

Got the package with everything needed, water pump gaskets were in their own baggie which we appreciated. Like this upgrade for our range rover considering the coolant system is a known problem, we upgraded the whole system when it went out. Happy to find an aluminum inlet connector rather than a plastic, made me feel better about it anyways. Very few seams on this piece a well so less opportunity for things to go wrong or fail
