This little drain cover is fabulous! It doesn't move when the shower's running, even though there is nothing really holding it in place; it just lays nicely, and the hair easily wipes off of it. It's just there, does its job, and looks nice in our walk-in shower.

I have an old house, with old pipes. Even though I'm very careful about what goes down my drains, I've still had instances of clogging in the kitchen. I bought the two-pack months ago, and they work great. I bought another two-pack for another two drains. I put them over my kitchen sink drains, and they catch the small particles that the regular drain basket misses. In the kitchen, they stay in place pretty well, with readjusting occasionally. They work great in the shower and catch a lot of hair but are still easy to clean. Very happy with these and I already bought again.

I bought these to cut down on clogged drains, and they’ve been doing the job well. The stainless steel design feels sturdy, and the silicone rim helps keep the catcher in place so water flows through while hair and debris stay out. They’re easy to remove and clean, which makes bathroom maintenance a lot less of a hassle. The pack comes with four, so I was able to use them in both showers and sinks. They fit well over standard drains, though if you have an unusually small or large drain, the 4.72” size might not be a perfect match. Also, since the silicone rim is flexible, it can shift slightly if the water pressure is high, but overall it still stays in place better than plastic alternatives I’ve tried. One minor drawback is that because the mesh is fine, water drains a little slower when a lot of hair builds up, so you do have to rinse them out frequently. Still, I’d rather clean the catcher than deal with a clogged pipe. Overall, this is a solid, affordable solution for keeping drains clear. Good value with four pieces included, and much sturdier than disposable options.

I was pleased that I could purchase 4 of these at a time and this price point. The item works well and keeps my wife’s hair out of the drain to prevent shower drain clogs. The silicone ring works well to keep the cover in place.

The Ohtomber Shower Drain Hair Catcher is a fairly standard product. It fits well over the drain and does a decent job of catching hair to prevent clogs. The stainless steel material is sturdy, and the silicone rim helps keep it in place. There’s nothing particularly special about it, but it works as expected. If you need a simple and functional drain cover, this is a good option.

So i bought these to not use them for their intended purpose as a shower drain but rather as a shower dripping tool for pour-over coffee. Essentially a replacement for a Melodrip The tray sits nicely on a pour-over cup. The trickle down is not as smooth as Melodrip however the plus is that it is not plastic and much cheaper. If Melodrip was made out of glass I wouldve kept that however I’m trying to eliminate microplastics from food intake devices.
