This glitter eyeshadow is pretty great. It's a very dramatic and noticeable color and shine, but it takes some practice to perfect. The product dries rapidly, and you have minimal time to blot down or "move" the product, if so desired. With my eyes, which are hooded, I need to apply a pretty big amount to get the product to show up when my eyes are opened, so I simply apply under my crease and have it show when my eyes look down. This also means that when my eyes are opened, you can't tell there's any of this glitter on them. For those with a deeper crease or more typical "Western" eyes, I think it'll work beautifully. The best way I have found to apply it is to wipe on the color fully - ONCE. Then keep your eye closed or looking downward to allow it to dry. If you attempt to blot it around or arrange the glitter, it increases the fallout and can look quite messy around the eye. But if you apply the gel-like product once and let it dry that way, and then use a black eyeliner like you normally would - the product doesn't move and it's surprising how there is no fallout at all even when worn for 12 hours. The one star I take off is because one swipe does not always yield an evenly "glittered" look, and can appear a bit blotchy sometimes, requiring a couple more dabs to even it out. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend giving this a try. It's inappropriate in my mind for daytime wear, but for nighttime? Bring on the STILA Magnificent Metals Glitter!

I love anything sparkly! This eyeshadow is my new favorite! Although a little on the pricey side, well worth every penny. It looks like a small lip gloss tube, and so does the applicator. Once I do my regular eye makeup, I apply it last. It goes on wet, spreads easily, and dries quickly. A little goes a long way, and lasts ALL day. So pretty!!!! Does not look too over the top either. Nor am I wearing fallen glitter all over my face. I chose kitten karma, and was hesitant at first it would be too dark (it is hard to tell from online pics). But it is the perfect light, neutral shade! I can't wait to add more of these to my collection.

This eyeshadow is very pretty, but isn't what I'd hoped it would be. I was hoping for a metallic/pearly/glitter look in an eyeshadow base. This seems to be just glitter in a clear gel/liquid base that makes it easy to apply. Once it's dry, the glitter is like any other glitter, and ends up EVERYWHERE. I do like the look of it when it's first applied, but I can't get it to stay where I apply it. I apply it just on my upper lids, and only a small area in the inner corner, as a highlight. After about an hour, it ends up on my cheeks, my nose, my chin... everywhere except where I applied it. It looks like I dipped my face in glitter - definitely not the look I was hoping for. I really want to like it, because it is pretty, but unless it stays where I put it, I don't really want to use it.

I’ve wanted this eye shimmer for a long time. The quality is wonderful and doesn’t have any gross scent. It’s hydrating but sets quickly and doesn’t budge at all. But it’s super easy to remove with cold cream. It’s so shimmery and makes it look like you know what you’re doing when applying eyeshadow, even if you haven’t a clue. I applied on my finger and tapped it on and it was so beautiful and I got many compliments at a wedding. Get it!

This is the second tube I have bought. It’s super glittery and I get lots of compliments. It was cheaper to buy it here than the drug store.

So easy to use, get a quick effect of glamor in a quick brush.
