I recommend this clean/dirty sign. The magnet is strong enough to stay in place without ever slipping down the front of your dishwasher. It functions exactly as it should and it is easy to use. The sliding part moves great; it's not too tight or too loose. I easily wipe it clean during my regular kitchen cleanups, and that's been fine in the months I've had it. However, it's got a lot of small grooves, and I do wonder if eventually it may accumulate kitchen grime (oil mixing with dust). I've got a black colored dishwasher, so the sign mostly blends in.

The media could not be loaded. My dishwasher serves multiple uses: dirty dish holder, drip dryer, clean dish cabinet, empty dishwasher in waiting, ... you know. This magnet takes the guess work out of it all, especially for those who are less apt to pay attentionI've owned others and this beats them all by a long shot! We've had this almost 6 months now with not a single complaint. The strong magnet is SUPER sturdy and does not slide around easily. It is also simple to remove when needed. It's so easy to install, just slap it onto any metal plate on your dishwasher. I can even see it being versatile in other uses for things like washing machines. The slide indicator for being dirty or clean slides smoothly and always performs well. I also love how simple it is in appearance and will fit into any decor.This simple item has definitely prevented many disagreements in this house!

Strong magnet holds it in by place on dishwasher front. Also comes with 2 adhesive discs for use with non-metallic surfaces. Slides easily between “dirty” & “clean”. I like that the word “dirty” is black with white letters and “clean” is white with black letters - creates visual cues for easy recognition.

Honestly don’t know what took me so long to get one, but I love it! I got tired of everyone asking if they were clean or dirty and this will help with that. Very durable and easy to install due to the magnet on the back. Magnet is strong and sturdy. Looks great and love the simplicity of it.
