If you like Feynman, this book is a must read. This is full of anecdotes from his life and also his scientific career. Some of those are actually inspirational. The quality of the paperback is also great.

Highly recommend this to everyone. But ESPECIALLY for ppl who are going into academia to get a whisical slice of life of a guy who was genuiunely the top .001% of humans to have existed. Feynmann is a gem to the world and this book showed that even if you arent big into science. Good read

This is a book to know about Richard Feynman (obviously it is an autobiography). How his curiosities transformed himself to the person he later became. Particularly written for science enthusiasts. No hard physics is explained in this book. This is simply the life of R. Feynman.

The book is excellent, and knowing how someone really thinks is fascinating. The things the great Mr. Feynman did in his life are quite shocking to know. He's a 'curious son of a gun' in real life.

Loved it.

The first book I read 8 hours straight, this goes into my list of great books to have. Will surely read the other books by Feynman

A book by a Nobel laureate, who has over his lifetime had the opportunity to meet, rub shoulders and work with some of the greatest minds - Einstein, Oppenheimer, Neils Bohr, John von Neumann. This book, is his memoir in which he has recounted some of the episodes of his life. Some of these are related to his work. The light humor throughout the book brings out Feynman's funny outlook to work and life. I thought that this book started feeling dry by the time I had reached the half way mark. After that I found it enjoyable only in patches. So I will not say there's is anything special.

Nice anecdotes of a brilliant man. Mr. Feynman strikes me as a man that I would like to have a beer with - he is nothing like the stereotype scientists we see in movies these days.

題名どうり、何処までが真実でどこから冗談話なのか分からない。分かるのは著者の思考法がユニークで自由闊達、何よりも興味対象が並はずれ広い。量子力学が専攻だが、暗号解読、音楽、ダンス、教育、ストリップ鑑賞、玄人と素人への口説き方の違い？、言語（含む日本語）、幻覚症状等、何にでも手を出す。それらの合間に量子力学を研究し、ノーベル物理学賞を得るのだから、天才中の天才の頭脳です。逆に、名誉や地位には一切興味が無くノーベル賞を受賞したら、その権威でトップレス・バーに通えなくなると一度は辞退したとか？ 異文化が好きでブラジル滞在時、懸命にノートを取る学生の授業態度に関心し、質問をしたら内容は丸暗記しているが論理を理解してないので、回答できないと知り啞然とする。今でもどこかの国は同じです。私は学生時代本書を読み、「学者の半分も量子力学を理解してない」との一節に触れ、物理学から離れました。宇宙人のような著者の試行錯誤と興味の対象を広げる生き方は大変参考になります。

Richard Feyman a lui meme compilé ses anecdotes dans une sorte de biographie, mais il reste tres pudique sur certains aspects pour finalement faire ressortir sa curioiste intellectelle, son besoin vsiceral de contourner les regles, son amour de la connaissance, sa franchise qui en ont fait un professeur de physique théorique adulé par ses élèves.
