I bought these scissors because of the angle, for the purpose of removing the awkwardness of cutting through fabric while standing over a table. I was concerned that they might not be solid enough to do the job. But, these scissors not only remove that awkwardness, but they are so sharp that they cut through fabric with ease. Would recommend these scissors to anyone. Thank you Fiskars for making things easier.

If you pin and cut on a board you want these. Easier to use than typical bent shears.

I've had and seriously used my last pair for 3 years. These are by far, the best for cutting fabric. Very precise! Very sharp! Cuts like butter without moving the fabric.You are cutting to the shorter blade on top. The longer point on the lower blade allows you to get up underneath the fabric without picking up the fabric which is great for precision!The shape tool 20 seconds to get used to. It allows you to cut on a flat surface without having to contort your hand. All my other fabtic cutters have been relegated to kitchen and office type tasks now. These are the only ones that really matter from the day they arrived.I added a not-great photo of the kind of work I do so you can see the precision and control needed. I call this Shraiding. Like shedding and braiding. I sell them on Etsy in my shop uMuseMe.

My first review was not good. I bought the scissors and when I was able to use them after two times it was impossible because they were extremely hard to open and close even my husband had a hard time. Because of a family emergency I wasn't able to return them in the time frame. So I wrote the company and asked them what I can do to make these scissors work and tell them I understood I was out of the return time. This company sent me a brand new pair of scissors. How awesome is that!! I will continue to buy Fisksrs. I just again have to say what awesome customer service.

These are great sissors, they cut silk really well. But wow are they big. I'm tall with large hands, and I can barely use these as the handle is so big. As precisely as they cut I would not buy again. Anyone with smaller hands might be really challenged to maneuver them effectively. I definitely could not use these all day long. Great blades though.

I have to admit, after going all over the house trying to find just one good pair of scissors to cut material I came up with jagged cuts, pulls in the material and it was just not working. These scissors are fantastic and glide smoothly, yeah I’m gonna say it … LIKE BUTTER. Lol. Seriously they were actually delivered and in my mailbox when I thought about how great it’ll be to have scissors that actually cut.

These scissors are a life saver when making the cuts for a fleece knit blanket. No awkward hand position while cutting, they feel solid, and they are super sharp.
