Fixed my issue in under 10 seconds
Fixed my issue immediately! My toilet were making funny gurgling noises and the quality of the product meant this stopped and made a great seal. The old one was caked in limescale and unusable. Quick and easy to fit in under 10 seconds.

Fitted perfectly, nice easy fix that's stopped the slow leaking and flush cycling. Toilet works better than ever

Slightly firmer than original.
The product was very easy to fit and is the correct dimensions however the rubber is slightly firmer than the original seal that I removed. This meant that the water was still trickling out as it wasn't squashing into the fitting enough to create a perfect seal. I solved this by smearing a little vaseline around the sealing surface and now there's no water getting through. Hopefully it doesn't degrade the rubber over time. I'll update if it becomes an issue!

Very easy to fit. No more leaking cistern.
Over the last year, all of the Ideal Standard toilets in our house developed a slow leak in the cistern. I found a very useful YouTube video which showed that the problem was with the rubber seal in the flush mechanism. Removing the old seal and installing the new one in each loo was a 5 minute job. I made sure to clean around the outlet to each cistern too before putting the flush mechanism back in, as limescale can contribute to leakage.

It’s cheap but doesn’t really work. Didn’t stop my water flow. And I only found out after the return period ended.
