This gadget was a part of my daily routine, and I used it every morning. I would place it on my desk so that it would have the same effect as natural sunshine. The three color temperatures, which range from chilly to warm, make it possible to provide illumination that is adaptable to fit a variety of activities and times of the day. I believe that the ability to regulate the brightness in a stepless manner is a feature that stands out. This function gives me exact control over the light intensity to meet my requirements, regardless of whether I am working on specific tasks or taking a break to allow myself to rest. During the winter months, when there is less sunshine, this lamp has made a noticeable difference in both my mood and my energy levels. This is particularly true during the shorter winter months. Timer and memory function are two features that I truly love about this product. My ability to select particular intervals for light treatment is made possible by the timer, which enables me to ensure that I get regular exposure without having to continually check the clock. I'm sensitive to too much light or blue light which can trigger a headache or even a migraine and this one with the varying settings allow you to choose your favorite while getting your vit D fix in the winter and setting or resetting your circadian rhythm.Winters in South Dakota are very long with weeks when the sun may come out 1-2 within the week and with temps at -20F, there's not a lot of opportunity to be outside.Every winter I increase my Vit D supplement to 10000 iu a day but that alone just isn't enough.Anyway -- this light just puts a smile on my face every morning as I enjoy my coffee before getting ready for work.I'm getting another one for my desk as work.It doesn't get "hot" to the touch. You have an extra outlet to charge your phone and it's less than $30.00.Give it a try !

This was amazing, but it only worked for three months and then quit. Unfortunately out of the window for returning.

Cycluminor Light Therapy Sun Lamp.The Cycluminor Light Therapy Sun Lamp is very light weight. I could lift it with one finger. It is a snap to put together and set up for charging. The base is not weighted, so set it somewhere that it won't get knocked over.It is simple to assemble. Push the light bulb ring into the base. It fits in easily with a little pressure. Attach the AC electric plug..This natural sunshine lamp is incredibly bright. It popped on as soon as I plugged it in to the wall socket. The ring that lights up (very brightly!) gets really hot and it did so very quickly. I mean hot, as in snatch your hand back startled, level of hot. It didn't burn me, but that much heat was concerning. I made sure that the hot light ring was not touching the wall, or any thing else.Then it occurred to me to turn the light off while it charges, which took a few fumbles until I figured out what the three press buttons each do. Once the light is turned off, the heat goes away immediately.It is 72 degrees here right now. I had turned off my window fan and my inside bedroom fan because I actually felt a little chilly after so many days of 100 degree heat. However, this sunshine lamp heated my bedroom so fast that I needed to restart my fans and cool my room back down.The lamp is presently turned off and unplugged from the electrical outlet. I am going to let it charge a full four hours. I saw no suggested charging time in the direction booklet.I'm pretty sure that the bulb ring's heat will return every time the lamp is turned on while plugged into the wall. It will be GREAT on cold, sunless days this winter when temperatures are low.UPDATE: I realized that I do not have a charge cable that fits the lamp and it does not come with one included. Nor do the instructions identify the correct charging apparatus.I'm not even sure at this point what it needs. The charge port looks like it takes the big end of a USB-A, or USB-C cable. My charge blocks do not take the small end of either of those. Where do I stick the small end of the cable to initiate a charge? Into my laptop C charge port?I guess I'll be using AC power until I figure it out.UPDATE 2: I attempted to disassemble the sunshine lamp to store it back in the box until / unless I find a charger. I absolutely could not pull the lighting ring back out of the base. I was afraid that I'd damage it if I pulled any harder.I will have to revisit this review at a later date.

I use them in my den for myself but also where my cats sleep. It has created a calm atmosphere.

Not as hot as the sin,but gets the job done!
