I have cold sore break out at least twice a year and I dread it. I always know the tell tell signs when I feel my lip tingling. I have used these for 2 years now at the first signs of tingling and i have not had a break out. They really work. I have recommended these to friends as well. Yeah they are big and not exactly appetizing to chew on, but its medicine and it works.

Cold sore hero! If you have a cold sore, it’s recommended you take this when you have tingling/burning. However I didn’t have those symptoms and mine appeared overnight and was huge. I feel this helped significantly because it’s flattened and the swelling is almost completely gone. I recommend taking these 2/3 times a day, applying ice 5x a day for 10 minutes, applying abreva 3 times a day and sleeping with a mederma patch. I promise you those steps helped with my cold sore and I will gladly recommend this to anyone. TASTES ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BUT IT WORKS AND WILL GROW ON YOU! Tablets are huge by the way.

These work so incredibly well! i’m not new to cold sores, so i know how they feel when they’re first coming in. Unfortunately my order got delayed and i didn’t get to start taking these until day 2! The cold sore literally never fully even formed. No one was able to see it on my lip, it didn’t blister, just went straight to a small scab and went away! No other product has done that for me before. I don’t think the taste is too bad, just pretty bitter and the tablet is huge. Other people talk about how to consume it but I chewed them up fully just how they instruct you too and like i said, they worked like a charm.

I don’t even know if they work because I tried to take it 2 separate times and that was genuinely the worst tasting thing I have ever put into my mouth. I gagged before I could even start chewing the tablet.

Seems to be helping with a cold sore in my mouth and one on my lip. Sweet flavor and maybe I should be dissolving it in a bit of water like this tablet could do. Am letting it melt in my mouth so it is right around the sore. Big tablets and strong in flavor but definitely helps since it is taken internally and seems safe. Mouth and lip was kinda in bad shape after this surgery and guess my immune system was down since I developed 2 sores. Definitely needed something safe to use inside my mouth and body. Flavor is a bit strong but it is helping quickly. Would recommend.

Heads up, if you're autistic and sensitive to tastes, this is absolutely godawful. I saw the warning before buying it and tried to be strong and just power through it and I really could not. It's extremely bitter. The tablet also is gritty (grit is one of my worst texture aversions) and was painful on my tongue and roof of my mouth. I will attempt the crushing and dissolving in water trick another reviewer posted and hope that helps. In the meantime, I bought lysine pills and those are way better.

So far the product works well, I see that some use it only when the blister comes out but I decided to use the 3 rambles a day for 5 days to see that they last so long without coming out. My method to be able to take them because of the strong vitamin C flavor is to mash it until it becomes a powder and then dissolve them in water and so it tastes like any vitamin C without having to chew the large tablet with a strong flavor. I hope my trick helps you for those who don't like the taste.

It works! Once I feel the tingle on my lip I eat one and poof it is gone the next day. If I don’t take it before it forms it still helps with the cold sore leaving fast. Warning: the taste is not good and the chewable tablets are huge. I’m okay with this because I finally found something that actually works.
