This is NOT a 5 year old's remote control car! And that is not in any way an excuse for jacking this from kid. Not at all. I buy Christmas toys all year round when I find a good deal, and I had this stashed away for the holidays. But my son had a bad day with the dentist, and I ended up giving it to him early. But I did NOT expect the power of this thing!! It goes incredibly fast, and easily rebounds off obstacles. But the thing that really makes this an older kids/adult toy (maybe I'm biased lol) is the wrist remote. It comes with a normal remote of course, but there is also a remote that can be strapped around the hands and finger to enable gesture controls. The gesture controls are incredibly sensitive, and even as an adult I am having a hard time getting the hang of it. But I'm having a great time doing it. My son was a little overwhelmed by it, and I was able to convince him to trade it for another toy. Which was awesome, because it's a really cool car 😂 All in all, I jacked a remote control toy from my child and I swear I'm not a bad mom LOL

I purchased this remote control car for my nephew's birthday. I gave it to him shortly before his dad came to pick him up and was struggling with getting it to drive straight. Dad immediately said something is wrong with the back tire. It's not spinning. After a few minutes of trying to get it to work, dad said it had to be returned. I filed for a replacement from Amazon (very easy process, much to my surprise). A new one was delivered the very next day which came earlier than my Amazon packages usually do, and just in time for the birthday boys dinner. He put it together himself (after charging the batteries) and has not stopped playing with it since. The extra battery is beyond amazing, the car itself is very sturdy and this car is super fast. Best remote control car he has gotten and extremely pleased with the replacement process.

I got it for a good price, the remote is easy to use, got my grandson off the PS5 for hours, my husband even had fun playing with it, he mentioned how great the battery life and movement was.

My 8yo’s FAV Christmas gift! Gesture control is so easy, flips/spins with a wrist wave—lights/music make it even better. Durable for crashes, works indoors/out, battery life is solid. Total hit for car-loving kids!

Remote control has no packaging. A screw on upper left hand side of remote control is missing. Based on its appearance it has been opened, returned and resold. Very poor quality and workmanship for a $130+ price tag. I am hoping this toy will work after fully charging all batteries when my grandson play with it after opening it on Christmas day. Does not deserve a single star for quality of workmanship and price tag. Update review. After fully charging all batteries and tested, gesture controller and reverse direction doesn't work! Will return and demand refund! Buyers beware! We paid AU$68 to return the goods. So, lost more than half of our money returning a defective product!

Battery plugs are so delicate that if it gets loose, everything will be useless.
