Philips 12003XM H4 Heavy Duty Relay Wiring Kit for High Power (100/90W or 130/100W)

Best product , really good , reliable product

Philips is a great brand , delivers a great product. Simple installation (DIY), I installed it myself at home... Used Osram 90/100 bulbs from local market (Rs100 each) with this kit. The whole setup is working like a charm as expected. Huge improvement in light intensity over stock bulbs even though my headlights have turned pale yellowish due to age (9+ years). There are similar products from variety of brands with lesser prices but Philips is the one to go for.

My Tata Nano had stock 55/60W bulbs, that just about meets the need for illumination at night. I was long planning to upgrade the bulbs to 90/100W but was hesitant to cut/splice existing wires. I saw this Philips Relay kit for a competitive price during Amazon Great Indian Sale and decided to order it, along with a pair of Philips Essential Vision H4 90/100W bulbs. This is a high quality kit which has 1) Headlamp Relay, 2) Two 30A Fuses, 3) Two Ceramic Connectors for the bulbs and 4) Heavy duty thick gauge wires. It was direct plug and play, and I did not have to cut any wires. It works as designed and supplies high current to the bulbs directly from the battery via a fuse and relay circuit. No overheating or short circuits due to the thick gauge wires with adequate insulation and Ceramic connectors. It took 10-15 minutes to install. It can support upto 100/130W bulbs.

Stopped working within a year.. right side bulb fusing continue. Not recommended.

The wire quality definitely needs an upgrade. This is the same from 15yrs as per my experience. The wires tend to turn white on bending. The wires are very stiff. I am talking about the wire’s insulation/skin not the copper inside.

The Philips H4 Heavy Duty Relay Kit works well with my high-power bulbs (100/90W), and the light output is strong and consistent. However, I noticed it gets a little warm during extended use, and there's no warranty mentioned, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, a reliable product with solid build quality — just needs better heat handling and after-sales assurance.
