Not "strong"
I'd call this a mid weight vellum. It didn't crack when used in my 3d embossing folders when one side was misted. Colors nicely and doesn't crack for embossing with a light to medium hand. Nice paper.

Tracing made easy
This is very good quality vellum tracing paper. I use it for tracing sections of large black and white posters to cut out and replace with fabrics. The paper is nice and firm and translucent enough to grab an image for whatever you are working on. I will definitely buy this again.

Works for projects where you like to shine through, but not as tracing paper
this is a review for “ Phinus 72 Sheets Vellum Paper, Translucent Vellum Jackets Vellum Tracing Paper 8.5 x 11, Vellum Paper Printable for Sketching, Invitation Belly Bands, Gift Box Liners”This is really nice venom paper. It is heavier or thicker than the other pack of the paper I have and that makes it really nice for paper projects. It really holds together well and it’s not easily creased. In the description, it says it can also be tracing paper. And while this is more or less true, it’s only accurate in the sense that you can, see through it to trace whatever is beneath it. If you try to use the Vellum with carbon paper or graphite paper underneath the bit to the image on something else, it doesn’t work very well. It doesn’t work very well for the very reason that makes it good for paper crafts, which is that the paper itself is thick and sturdy. That means you have to press really hard in order to transfer your image, and that never works out well.If you are using this for projects where you want light to shine through, the stuff will work terrific. It will not work well as your default tracing paper.

Really Good Paper
This vellum paper does all that it is advertised to do. It worked excellently in my inexpensive Brother inkjet printer, with no jams or crinkling. The colored images reproduced clearly, with no smudging. I also have used it for tracing. Now, it is thicker than tracing paper, so it is not as transparent. However it did a good job on some images I wanted to trace, albeit they were not very detailed. For more detailed tracing, I would use thinner, more transparent tracing paper. But I like this vellum paper, because it is sturdy and versatile.

Too thin, doesn't work with a new EPSON XP 420 printer
I have a new (two week old) EPSON printer, a VERY common one, the XP-420. This vellum does not work with it, I've tried about ten times now, putting multiple sheets, regular paper loaded behind it, printing from different software, etc. It just sends the paper half way out, still caught in the printer. This is REALLY thin, when it arrived, was surprised how thin it was and felt.
