Kactoily Smart Aquarium Monitor All in One pH/ORP/Salt/S.G/TDS/EC/Temp 24h Online Freshwater and Saltwater Fish Tank Tester (WiFi Version)

I've been using the Kactoily Smart Aquarium Monitor for a while now, and it has been a total game-changer for my Fish tank. Being able to track all the critical parameters—pH, ORP, Salt, S.G., TDS, EC, and Temp—from a single device, right on my phone, is incredibly convenient and gives me so much peace of mind. But the real reason I'm writing this review is for the outstanding customer support. I had an issue with my original unit where it just wouldn't connect to my WiFi, no matter what I tried. I was incredibly frustrated, especially when I realized I was already past the one-year warranty period. I figured I was out of luck. On a whim, I decided to contact their customer support anyway to see if they had any troubleshooting tips. To my complete surprise, they were not only quick to respond and super helpful, but after we couldn't get it to connect, they sent me a brand new replacement unit, completely free of charge, even though my warranty had expired! I was blown away. The new unit arrived, connected to WiFi instantly, and has been working perfectly ever since. It's rare to find a company that stands behind its product like that. The monitor itself is a fantastic 5-star product, but the excellent, beyond-warranty support makes it a 10-star experience. I can't recommend this product or this company enough!

I bought this from Amazon on 09/25. The protective covers were missing in the package/unit. Though it said it is pre-calibrated, the pH was off, so I did calibration. But looks ok now. But my biggest problem is Salinity. I am using this for a saltwater tank and kept the probe in the sump. The salinity drops down in 24 hrs. I have double checked with my other salinity monitors. This is well below the actual. I cleaned the probes and put it back. The reading is correct for few hrs and then drops back. Update: The customer service reached out to me and explained the reason for drop in salinity values. After their suggestions of placing it in areas of low flow, the readings are more stable and accurate. This is definitely a great monitor for this price, with wifi control and notifications. Other readings are stable. Since, I noticed this within few days of purchase, I am going to return this.

This hasn't been correct with the PH levels since i got it. I tried recalibrating it over and over and it still shows my PH level to be twice what it truly is based off of other ways I have tested it. The thermometer works good on it but for the price I paid for this, it should do more than just tell me what a $2 strip can tell me.

I can't really give it a review yet other than my first impression, which is in line with what others had been saying and that I didn't really think was true,but it is. The calibration is way off out of the box. That alone is not completely a deal breaker but then it doesn't come with most of the solutions you neeed to actually calibrate it. It does come with PH, but you need to buy 3 more. I am going to give it the benefit of hte doubt and wait for the calibration solutions to come in before I pass full judgement, but I woudl have passed on this had I known it was going to be unusable without buying additional supplies. I still may as te whole point is that it gives you all your metrics simply. If I ahve to constantly calibrate it. I might as well use the indeividual measuring devices that do not need all the effort to make work.

Extremely well packaged, you can tell this comes from a well branded company. The built-in color display is awesome and surprising for this product's cost. I use it on a coral reef aquarium, and did find that calibrating both the pH and EC was necessary. Suggestion, company should include EC calibrations as the salinity measurement was way low from the factory. But after calibrating, it's doing a great job providing timelines for pH, ORP, salinity and temperature all useful information for my setup. All together I think the product should include all essential calibrations even if it raises the product cost a bit, still be a great bargain!

This water reader is a must for beginners. It gave you specific reading numbers. I used API test kit, it’s hard to tell the PH. It’s pricey but it’s worth it.
