Battery works great. Came pre-charged and slotted easily into a Dyson V6 Motorhead stick vacuum. For the price, compared to just buying a sole battery, this kit with a battery, replacement screws (with the right screwdriver you need to remove the old ones and replace the new ones), a cleaning brush, and two filters is a clearly superior value. Too soon to comment on the battery's longevity compared to the OEM battery, but I'm sure I'll get a few years out of this one. I'll update the review if it fails prematurely.

This replacement battery brought my Dyson V8 back to life with noticeably stronger suction. Installation was quick and easy. The 6500mAh capacity gives me much longer cleaning sessions without needing a recharge. It holds power consistently, even when tackling carpets and pet hair. Charging is fast, and the battery doesn’t overheat or make noise. Feels just as reliable as the original, if not better. Overall, it’s a hassle-free upgrade that makes vacuuming smoother and more efficient. I will buy again!

Works good and I like that it came with the filters.

Great value. No issues so far, only caveat is the charging indicator always blinks on the 4th (full) bar and doesn't shut off or stop blinking, a little annoying and makes me think it is always trying to charge it to 100% from 99.9%, but other than that works flawless. Will update in a couple more months to speak about longevity, but it has been going strong for 3 months now.

The battery on my Dyson V6 trigger stopped holding a charge, so I bought this battery replacement which is more affordable than buying straight from Dyson. It fits perfectly and was easy to change out. I used the original screws instead of the provided screws because the provided ones seemed a little harder to screw in. The vacuum is working like brand new again -cheaper than buying a new vacuum!! It also came with 2 replacement filters, a tiny cleaning brush, screwdriver, and replacement screws.

Works perfectly with V7 with white Motörhead. 3 screws to replace the battery, couldn’t be easier. My first run in it was great, and seemed to last longer than the original Dyson battery. I think a key is, charge the battery fully when you first get it, then let it cool before you charge it again, charging hot batteries is not good for the long term life!

I've been using this replacement battery for about 10 months now. It's better than the original Dyson battery. The OEM battery expired after 6-7 years. From the start, I could never vacuum 4 rooms. It'd die after 3 rooms upstairs, before getting to the family room downstairs. But with this replacement battery, it could do all 4. I wish everything in life was cheaper and better than the original.

The installation instructions are minimal. Enough for someone used to doing household repairs, they are enough. But I am not good at repairs and I had to make more effort than I wanted to figure out the process. There is a Phillips screwdriver included with my purchase, but when I had someone else help me with the installation, he found it too small. We used a slightly larger screwdriver. Not sure if that was necessary. The screw on the original battery was very tight and we needed to use pliers to unscrew and remove it. PROS: A new filter and cleaning brush were included. A PhillIps screwdriver was included (it may have been a perfect tool if the screw in the original battery had not been so tight). The battery was pre-charged and could be used as soon as installed. (I have only used it once, so don't know about how long it runs or how long it will be usable. But right now, it works well. CON: instructions about removal of old battery (no information about this) and installation of new battery were too brief for someone not used to doing this type of repair.
