Not just for small children
I have now owned a pair of these scissors for several years - mine at home are used for cutting paper and whatever else would ruin my sewing scissors and shears. However, I am currently teaching a sewing class where the participants (all adults) are not allowed to use pointy scissors. So long as the scissors are never used to cut anything other than fabric or thread, they work beautifully for that purpose and last a long time. I've tried other brands that appear similar, but they do not work nearly so well! Purchasing individual blunt end 'kindergarten' scissors is much more expensive than buying in bulk! I currently have more than 20 students using these scissors in their hand sewing endeavors. (Since all the of the scissors in the box are the same color, I make sure MY name is on my scissors (permanent marker) and each of the students has a particular place to keep their scissors and other hand sewing equipment and supplies.

Good scissors. Ordered blue, but received a box of purple. Not a huge deal, but it makes a difference to a 6 year old.

These are my favorite scissors for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. The price is reasonable & I have bought them repeatedly. The size is perfect, they are easy to hold & comfortable.

Great little scissors
This is a great set of scissors: they have a soft grippy surface which prevents them from slipping and the rounded tip keeps them from poking fingers or through bags.They seem reasonably well built and the 5-year warranty is icing on the cake.

awesome resource for students - I appreciate the fact that they come in packs of 12 as Canadian primary classes are mostly capped at 24 students.
