Absolutely brilliant for rapid drying dogs!
First of all, this thing is NOISY. It leaves you with your ears ringing. It's a fair bit louder than a vacuum cleaner. Also, the retention clip that secures the hose to the actual machine is incredibly flimsy, and I suspect that'll be the first thing to break. Now that's out the way, on to the good parts. It's easy to assemble, and although it's large, it's not too large or heavy that I mind taking it when off to stay with family. As for the drying performance, it's brilliant. The air comes out warm, or hot if you use the heat function, so go with whatever your doggo likes best. If using heat, though, I'd keep the airflow moving quickly across a big area to avoid discomfort. You can literally see the bulk of the water coming off as a very fine mist at first, and moments later the fur fluffs up as it dries. I tend to do one side of my dog at a time, for more gentle drying. She's a 15kg Sprocker Spaniel puppy, and it takes about five minutes to get her from soaking wet to just slightly damp to the touch. I'm sure it'd be totally dry if I kept going, but the main point of this product for me is to get her dry enough so she's comfy and doesn't get cold and shivery at all after a long, muddy walk and the subsequent shower. If your dog is unsure of it, just turn it on low in a room and let them approach it. My dog very quickly learned that the drying and massage the high speed air provides feels GOOD. She loves it now after a few goes!Definitely a good dog dryer that'll ensure comfort for your pup, and almost instant hugs after a walk as opposed to a few cold, wet, miserable hours.

Great HV dog dryer, especially for the price!
This is my first high velocity dryer, and so far I'm delighted. I have two 7 month old Shih Tzu's that have relatively long hair. They both to love getting muddy so on long walks they need a rinse off and dry fairly often.I must point out both my pups are used to loud machines, and have been going to the groomer since 12 weeks old, so this is not alien to them. My boyfriend says its like a reverse vacuum cleaner - which is exactly the sound and the sound level. So, if your pooch hates that sound, they won't be a fan of this. First time I turned it on it scared them a small bit, as I only ever used a human handheld hairdryer on them in the past. But after the initial shock they were fine with it. I let them check it out when it was off afterward and on without pointing the nozzle at them which I think helped.Initially the nozzle looks short, but stretches once turned on. As others have said it does get warm quickly, but the handle bit keeps your hands separate to it so you'll be fine. Even though it's winter time I've not had to use the heat option on this as the air get to a nice comfortable warmth for my dogs, anything more and it would be too hot for my babies. As far as drying it does a great job. The blast just shoots the water right off them, and any dirt I don't manage to rinse off (I know as I can see/feel it on my tiles after!). Getting their paws and back legs was the hardest to get fully dry and now it's so simple. Their fur also has that 'just out of the groomer' air fluffed look as well which I love! It used to take me 20 mins per dog, now about 10 mins per dog. This is a massive saving for me (and my back) in the evening. I still use my own hairdryer on my dogs faces though, I would never put any dog through that sort of stress. The only thing that irks me about this machine is the length of the cord. I dry my two in the bathroom and there is no socket nearby, so I've had to resort to linking sockets together to get it into the room. If that could be changed, then I would be 100% happy with it.

Great Blaster, Shame about the attachments
Bought to dry my two long haired German Shepherds.Used blaster twice on the first day I received it.Powerful and fairly quiet (about as loud as a vacuum cleaner) .Did job it is intended for well.Flat attachments cause high pitched whistle and are unusable so I deducted a star.Perfectly useable without attachments but if something includes extras you should expect to be able to use them.Partly redeemed by the inclusion of a decent grooming brush.Only time can tell on reliability.

Wondering about the Union Jack in the advert picture?
If you see a Union Jack VERY CLEARLY displayed on the picture for a product you will probably, like myself, think that you are about to purchase a British product. Do not be fooled by Gravitis. This product is most certainly NOT British and the giveaway is that it arrives in a box very clearly marked MADE IN CHINA. Beware, because you will pay significantly more for this product that for similar items which obviously are Asian. Nothing wrong with Asian, but something certainly wrong with a company trying to fool you that the product is British - and Amazon do not think there is anything wrong with this!! Caveat emptor - buyer beware. I rated the item three stars simply because it is middle of the road and there is nowhere to rate the seller other than in the main overall rating. Yes, the machine works, but no differently from any of the others out there; certainly not worth the extra you pay for being deceived.

I no longer dread muddy walks
I had one of these for nearly two years and wouldn't be without it. I have a long coat German Shepherd and this blaster has been brilliant to blast off the mud and wet that she comes back covered it after every walk. Therefore, I very rarely need to bath her which is so much better for her skin but when I do, I can get her dry in no time which again avoids her developing the sore patches she used to suffer with where she wasn't drying quick enough. She goes from filthy and soggy to spotless and thoroughly dry in roughly ten minutes, Worth every penny.
