theBalm Even Steven Whipped Foundation Natural Matte Finish

I purchased both this "light" color and the "lighter than light". I found the "lighter than light" to be a better color match for my fair skin. I am a mix of KVD's lock it liquid foundation (Light 45 and Light 42 Neutral). I have bad skin and this covers everything pretty well (better than any cream foundation I have ever tried)! If you want even more coverage, I recommend applying KVD's lock-it powder foundation over top (I wear color: Light 45 in this). I really really like the matte finish of this whipped foundation, I have combo skin and find most cream foundation to be super greasy--- not this stuff! It applies very evenly, I actually like to use my finger for application. I am in my early 30's and am getting fine lines on my face, this doesnt sink into the lines at all, PHENOMENAL formulation!!!! I also like theBalm's "Time Balm" concealer for under my eyes (their "light" color matches me the best). Hope this review helps those with fair skin like me find a good color match! I love the ingredients of the whipped foundation and concealer too, no nasty stuff and no heavy oils (that usually break me out)--- No break outs at all with this! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

This foundation is amazing. Since my holy grail Pond's BB cream was discontinued, I've been on a quest to find a replacement. I've tried practically every brand of foundation and BB cream I can get my hands on. Previously I was very disappointed with the Balm's Balm Shelter which had a really unpleasant orange hue. I am fair with dry, sensitive skin. I only need the tiniest dab of Even Steven to give me excellent coverage. It seems to apply best with a foundation brush from Ulta. As far as color goes, I need a 50:50 mix Light and Lighter than Light to get the perfect match for me. I have a cool to neutral skin tone. My main problem is flaky skin and redness. Once on, the foundation feels light and soft and doesn't irritate my skin or rub off excessively. I use micellar water to remove it at the end of the day.

This is my all time favorite foundation, it has been out of stock on The Balm’s actual website for a while so I had to order this time on Amazon. It has awesome buildable coverage and feels super light weight. So glad I was able to order it here.

Buy this foundation. It's so light on the skin--I forget I'm wearing it--but it's still full coverage. You only need the tiniest bit to cover your full face. I have light skin with slightly yellow undertones (a 2Y03 with Sephora's color IQ system, which is an N25 in CoverFX foundation, a Light 45 Neutral with Kat Von D) and I'm happy with the color match with Light. Also, this foundation lasts all day. I haven't had any issues with it getting oily (though my skin does tend to be on the drier side).

I like Even Steven whipped foundation as a replacement for the Revlon whipped foundation that has been discontinued. Although it's not as satisfactory as the Revlon I liked it is a whipped creamy consistency that I prefer. It doesn't dry the skin but I always use moisturizer before makeup routine. I have dry skin. I don't find it cakey but if I put too much on I just wipe some off and continue putting it all over my face. I also like the fact it doesn't take a lot to cover your face. I use my fingers to blend it which gives me a longer time to spread it and doesn't dry out too quick. I would recommend this. Just wish the jar was a bit bigger at the same price. :)

I love everything that I have tried for TheBalm so far. I am not afraid to spend some money a make up product is the actually work for me. While this is an affordable product, it works. I love this foundation! It is really amazing having the right color for my skin tone. usually I mess up a get a shade or too in the wrong direction, but this light whipped foundation is perfect in every way. It stays on throughout the whole at medium coverage.

I bought this foundation when my skin was broke out and I was a bridesmaid at a friend's wedding. Not only did it hide my acne but I was complimented on my makeup multiple times that night. I love the mousse texture and how soft it leaves your skin. Also the small container goes a LONG way! Definitely recommend this product!

Meh, if you have used the philosophy foundation then you know how this one applies. Also be prepared for the tiny size, its the size of the NARS concealer pot or MAC paint pot. It is thick and requires light touch and quick work. Im still working with it to find the right application method so it doesn't look caky. The philosophy tint in a jar is similar in that you need to use your fingers initially then beauty blender to finish blending. Because this one takes special application in order to use I knocked off a few stars. So far this is not one I would repurchase because it is difficult to work with.

Base perfeita pro verão, rende demaaaais tem que ter até cuidado, da pra fazer camadas de acordo com sua preferência ( mais suave ou mais pesado). Textura seca e aveludada na pele, deu certo pra mim porque minha pele é mista e bem hidratada. Melhor investimento que já fiz ! E não acumula e não transfere.
