I used this to draw out a small abscess on a horse and it worked wonderfully. Great quality. Right amount of stickiness. Not too odorous for what it is. Have ordered it more than once. Great product.

I love this product and honestly it has prevented me from having to get surgery for a recurring pilonidal cyst. However, there is a specific way to apply to it to get results. I had it for a few years and didn't use it regularly bc I thought it didnt work well, but recently applied it a different way (the right way), and it was like Magic! The best way to get results is to apply it to directly to a gauze (or bandaid if that's what you've got) then tape it to the area with medical/gauze tape. Leave it for 24 hours and you will see a night & day difference. Its important to apply it to the gauze or bandaid- making sure the area is covered. Pro tip: apply it with a popsicle stick (5 bucks for a pack of 200) or something like that (the cheap $1 pack of nail filers work too), so that you don't get it all over your hands.Do not apply it directly to the skin or leave it uncovered- I used to do this and it was messy with no results. When I recently tried using this again and applied it directly to the gauze and had it covered for 24 hours, it completely softened my hard inflamed pilonidal cyst (it's a cyst in your butt crack- for those who don't know). I used it for a few days and it made it small, took away the inflammation (infection), and I was able to sit comfortably again. If its super inflamed, it make take you 3-4 days to get you back to your pre-cyst bum, but it's well worth it and will help avoid having to get that crazy surgery where the docs leave you with an open wound for over a year smh. I'm a firm believer in this and now will always have it in my house for when I feel a flare up coming so I can get rid of it in 24 hours before it gets infected.I'm also trying this on this painful bump I've developed after my c section and hoping it works.

The smell could be a little more pleasing but if it works, it's tolerable.

OMG this stuff really makes works. I have a one area that is subject to chronic boils. Usually two to three flare ups a year. Well I’m leaving for for a vacation that has been in the planning for over a year. Of course the boil picks this exact time to flare. well in my mind going to the ER to have it lanced and packed was something I did not want to do considering that my vacation would be starting and I would be miserable the whole 7 days.So went on Amazon with the intent to purchase boil ease but saw this product and read the reviews well let me tell you this stuff is magic as soon as I applied it I felt the pain subsiding and low and behold it did the trick..Don’t be deterred by the tar smell this stuff could smell like skunk pee if it saves me a trip to the ER and a painful I & D procedure.Let the vacation begin 💯#

This smells like the good, old-fashioned ichthammol from my childhood. The problem is that it does not come with a safety seal. Mine came with a little gouge on the surface. I have absolutely no idea if anyone applied this to a wound and returned it, or it was otherwise used. I have an infected scratch I wanted to use it on, but just the thought that this product might have been used makes me too hesitant to apply it to broken skin. It doesn’t matter with items like soap or hand lotion, but it does for anything that will go on a wound.This looks like a great product, but without a safety seal, I would never use it. I wish the manufacturer would put in the description that there’s no seal, so if this bothers people they won’t buy it. I get not everyone worried like this, but would you buy Neosporin at the store that didn’t come in a sealed box, or had any seal around the cap, and the tube was a little squished, like it was used? Probably not.

Whitin 3 days that nodule I had seem to have disappeared (it was NOT pulled out of my skin as we see on some you tube video), but it disappears. It was a nodule around some stones inside a gland (yes, you can have stones other than kidney stones, strange but true). However the substance is higly toxic and some people can handle it, others can't. I used it daily for four days and four nights. By the third day (even though my goal was to see if those stones could come out) I had to stop and entered a strong diet (waiting for an appointment to get more specific help). I recovered fast. For the most part, the body tries to get rid of toxic substance by trying to expell it through the skin (nodules is probably one example of our glands or lympathic system being overwhelmed, I'm told) so, most people are not good candidates for a strong product such as this. On the other hand, what kind of product could remove a nodule without surgery: a strong product. So, it is our choice but be aware that it can be toxic. Today I'll be using the Moringa tree poweder that I got from Amazon and that should help. It has been 4 days now that I have stopped the product. The areas I imagine it affected most was my kidneys and liver (liver gives you that bad taste in your mouth and the kidney--when not functioning properly makes difficult for you to eat and you feel extremelly tired). Perhaps if you don't have any issues this ointment may be a life giving to you but remember that what goes on your skin penetrates your body and not everyone is in a perfect condition to take this. I don't know whether if I could have continued this substance would open the area and pull out those stones but I do say that the swollen, the nodule around the stones is gone! So, overall the medicine works but I am not one that can take it and it was a bit childish to think that it could remove stones from inside a gland... after all those stones are benign ...so I'l leave it alone

If there's anything in your skin you want out, this doesn't work at all. As opposed to pine tar being super sticky, this is more like wet clay. It extracts nothing. However I have no clue about its effects/benefits on skin conditions.
