Purchased for wife and a basket making class. Have not used yet but she says there are more tools than she has used.

It's the perfect starter kit for basket making. It was a great value. There are little instructions.

It comes in a handy little see through plastic case with a hang tab and snapping buckles on the sides. It is a comprehensive kit. It has a locking metal tape measure in a plastic housing with a metal belt clip and wrist strap.There are no instructions, so the rest of the tools are for people who know what they are doing. There is a pair of spring hinged snippers with nonslip coated handles and a locking base. There is a second smaller set of snippers with pointed ends and are thinner and lighter for small cutting. They seem sharp and precise for a fine cut, while the larger snippers have a beveled edge and seem more for cutting through togher materials.There is a pair of tight fitting, stretchy work gloves made of a thin fabric. There are two wooden handled tools, one with a large knob and a long thick metal blade in a scooped shape that comes to a point. This could be for shoving twigs into holes drilled into wood. The smaller tool has a long wooden handle and a long pointy blade for doing the same type of thing but more finely. This one has a plastic sleeve for the point.Then there are hardware looking parts like 6 plastic hollow tubes the size of pasta shapes in three different sizes. There are two notched metal pieces maybe for holding twigs separated. There are two nubby gold ring bands. Then there is a bag with four metal tubular pieces that fit together like a pen with points at either end. This could be for poking twigs up and down to fill gaps.It seems like different tools you might need to take a basket weaving class and come prepared without having to buy whatever the teacher is offering.

I've been wanting to take a basket weaving class for quite a while and finally will be doing just that, beginning after the holidays. It's an ongoing class during the winter months and is close to home so it's time and now I have the tools. When I look at what is in this kit, it may be over the top for this newbie as it seems to include anything I may need and of good quality. I love beautiful baskets and am excited to get going. This may be the beginning of a good thing. Beautiful gifts, for sure.

I ordered this kit to use in basket weaving class scheduled for March 2025. I took it in to the instructor and had them tell me if I needed any other tools added to this. I do not. This is well supplied in needs for construction a pine needle basket, needless scissors tape measure and more. The kit is well thought out, even has gloves. The price point is extremely reasonable. I will be able to successfully make a lovely basket and will add a photo when I finish the class.
