I have been using this product for several years (purchased 11 times). I use it more to prevent frizz and activate my permed curls. It is more nourishing than most curl solutions but lightweight enough for my thin, fine hair. As others have stated, use only a small amount and distribute on wet hair. It dries a little stiff but, the curls hold and are soft after I run my fingers through my hair. My daughter’s hair is naturally thick and very curly. This product is not heavy enough for her.

Ordered this once, got an already used tube and had it replaced. Glad I had it replaced instead of just cancelling altogether. I've been trying to find something that would work for my hair. I have 2c curly hair, but I also have fine blonde hair, so finding a product that will keep my curls, remove the tangles, while also not weighing my hair down and doesn't smell like a chemical plant seemed impossible. The amount of money I've spent trying to find something.... anyway. This stuff is perfect. A little bit goes quite a long way on my hair (used about dime size for my shoulder-length hair). Curls are there, tangles are gone, and hair is not weighed down. There is some weight to the product, but it's more of anti-frizz than weight, it just keeps the curls together, which is nice. I'll be using this until they discontinue or change the formula.

Softens hair, adds significant volume to you hair & leaves hair soft & shiny. You definitely won’t have frizzy but it is not a straightener. If you have any curl to your hair it will leave you with stunning results. A very good product at a good price. Give it a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This hair product works well for me and l have curly hair! You only have to use a little.

The texture of my hair isn’t as critically dry & brittle. The improvement is real. I find I can only use a very small amount or it makes my hair feel greasy. It is definitely a product that works very well. I’m experimenting on how much I can use safely on my hair without any stickiness or residue.

I bought this product when I had a lob cut, and even though I was applying the tiniest amount possible, it was just too heavy for my hair. My hair is long now, and after taking my son to swimming lessons, my hair was becoming damaged from the chlorine. My normal routine couldn’t manage the frizziness or breakage so I thought I’d try this again. It works wonders now! My hair is smooth and shiny but not weighed down. I have 2C hair, and although the strands are thin-normal I have a LOT of hair. If you’re finding it too heavy for you, I would say your hair is either too thin OR too short. On long hair it works like a dream. And no overpowering smell which is perfect.
