took a few cans to figure it out... kind of figure it out.
I usually learn stuff quick, but this was tough. I went through 3 cans before I kind of figured out how to get a nice wrinkle. I'm putting it over POR-15 on some jeep hinges and other misc parts. Heated some parts to 160f (it was too hot). Problems: 2 sets of directions. Weird. I was particularly thrown off by trying to get a heavy first coat. Any pooling at edges or runs wrinkle badly. Here is what worked: 90f part temp, first coat: make the thinnest complete coat that you can get, wait 2 mins (don't add heat), second coat: again, thinnest complete coat you can get. Wait 2 mins. Apply heat with hair dryer, heat lamp, etc. (I like instant gratification). Can you please add 3 free cans to my next order (which I am placing now)😁

The Pro Look!
This is top shelf texture paint and I have used it before. For DIY at home it is the best of the best for me anyway. Good Stuff!

matches beautifully on my evo FLH
matches the inner primary and the engine smoothly. dried fast, durable as can be, no issues with it adhering to material but depends on your prep. holds heat.

Follow the directions...covers well and goes on easy.
My shop was not that warm ( about 60 degrees F) but I use a fan to circulate the air over the parts. The wrinkle effect gave the diamond plate aluminum I was painting a really nice finish. Just be sure to follow directions and apply the second coat 3 to 5mins after the first coat.

Do it this way or it will turn out like crap
I am a fussy car person and this is over the top in results. The part needs to be clean, prime if you can (must). Clean again just before spraying. Put it outside in the sun, for twenty minutes so it gets hot. Not 100 degrees silly. Wipe clean with a lintless rag just before you spray. Also leave the can of paint laying on it side in the sun for the same time. Shake it till you think your hand will fall off. Spray 8 to 10 inches from said project being sprayed, back and forth like this is a masterpiece. Little bit up and down too. Wet it up, walk away, come back in five minutes and spray another sort of quick coat. Wait 20 minutes and you will see it appear. If you try to not do it this way then when it turns out crap don't complain. It is professional, and perfect. You will be so amazed.

Don't buy, buyer beware!
This paint would not dry? Must be a defective product or just sucks. I followed the directions to the letter and checked out the successful posts. Did not work and I had to strip my project. Buyer beware if you buy you cannot return because of Amazon rules. Looked nice but after a week it was still soft.

It took a few tries to get the cans to spray but if you follow the directions, remove the tips, shake well, make sure they are warm, it goes on. This paint has very unique properties you won't find in many other engine paints.. Keep the coats thin and the next day it will magically have the texture that increases surface area.
