Received this a week ago . Quick delivery - poor courier it was a heavy parcel ! It is furry with a teddy fleece cover and the weighted micro tiny balls in a checked pattern the balls that gives the weighted part , I sleep alone so it gives me the cuddle security feeling! I am just using it in my torso just now as I’ve a broken ankle in a fracture boot . I keep it beside me all day if I can fit a wee Kip in . My sons girlfriend has sensory issues and he’s very high functioning Asperger’s and she is planning to buy one I would recommend

Early opinion is well made, soft and looks good. I bought the 6kg and does the job well. As someone who’s been suffering from insomnia and decided to give a weighted blanket a go, all I can say is this has helped me and had the best few nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. May not work for everyone but as definitely helped me. Also nice and warm without being too much

I’ve been using this weighted blanket for a few weeks now, and I genuinely sleep so much better under it. The 150 x 200cm size is perfect for sharing a bed, or even just spreading out if you tend to fidget at night. Compared to my old blanket, this one feels much more substantial without being oppressive, and the weight is just right, heavy enough to feel snug but not so much that I wake up feeling pinned down. The teddy fleece material is lovely and soft, yet it doesn’t get too warm in summer, which I was a bit worried about. It drapes nicely, and I like that the weighted sections are evenly distributed, there’s none of that annoying lumpy feeling you sometimes get with cheaper blankets. I usually use it while my partner sticks to the duvet, and it’s made settling down for sleep noticeably easier. It’s been exactly what I wanted: soft, comforting, and properly weighted. Definitely pleased with the quality for the price and find myself looking forward to getting under it each night. Just make sure you buy a size appropriate for your bed and weight appropriate for your age.

OK now to be fair I have not owned this one long. Dd has autism /anxiety and bought this to help. It absolutely reeked when it arrived and she wouldn't go near it! I have aired it out for a week and she has tried it now. But obviously it's just too heavy for a washing machine. So bear that in mind. However she slept so soundly using it. She actually commented on her sleep before I even asked. So yes. I wish I didn't smell. I regret not buying the smaller lighter one I could pop into the wash. It is soft though.

Nice heavy blanket with nice soft fleece cover. It is washable which some are not so that's a big plus. Very reasonably priced.

I've tried it every night, for a week. Beautiful lovely and comfortable. Then only decided to use it when I needed it for my anxiety. I have no complaints, I keep it by our bed so I can gab it when I need it. Also helps for those restless nights

Good quality, good weight, very Happy with this weighted blanked, only one thing I wish people wouldn't use evri as their courier 2 days late with delivery, and if you have delivery to your home they have little flexibility most people work, not the sellers problem

The item has issues with fluff coming off, attaching to other items of clothing, and also getting airborne. I had to purchase another blanket cover to circumvent the problem, which makes the product poor value for money, and the comfort of the teddy fleece is compromised when using the cover to prevent fluff coming off.
