This is probably one of the most fun things I’ve done, just be careful when melting the wax in your microwave that you check your wattage on the microwave. I did not have to microwave as long as the directions said. Be careful because it bubbles up real fast when melting. The best thing about this is that you can put it in your freezer for about 20 minutes and the soap comes out nice and hard and ready to use. So by the time you’re done cleaning up, it’s just about ready. This was a great project for little kids. And it also keeps him busy with washing their hands!

Of all the gifts I bought my 6 year old this kit has been her favorite. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. All items needed were in the box. Melting the glycerin blocks are quick and easy. Be sure to help any littles pour. Once molds are filled, pop in the fridge or freezer. Carefully pop soap out of the molds and trim excess wax. We haven't used ours yet but they feel like they would later well. This is a functional kit. Colors are fine. This is a low time investment project for busy moms.

Fun project to do with kids ages 4-12. Value for money

My 4 year old and I made this on a sick day. We had a blast and learned a lot. If you heat the soap too little it won't pour well, if you heat it too much you get a lot of bubbles. There's plenty of color, scent, and glitter so you can use a ton. We used our deep freezer in between layers so it set up quickly. We got 5-6 soaps out of it. I'm buying a second one to gift.

Really easy to make. Just be fast pouring it in the mold. It does dry up quickly in the beaker. Great teaching moment for kids about physical change in chemistry.
