The flavors are amazing, I actually think these taste way better than starburst. Strawberry however is slightly weak in flavor. The texture is softer, but I like that so it’s really up to preference. However, for the price point, and per the advertisement, I expected an actual variety. I got 12 pieces of lemon, 8 strawberry, and 3 (!!) cherry. The cherry is to die for, but I don’t want to pay 12$ for millions of lemons.

1/4/22 My package of Lovely Organic Fruit Chews contained a very uneven distribution of flavors, plus an unidentified flavor. The package says the flavors within are cherry, lemon and strawberry. I received a total of 4 pieces combined of cherry and strawberry. There were several pieces of lemon. Most of the package contained the unidentified flavor - candy tan in color on the left in the photo. I cannot describe the flavor of that tan color, but it was not good. I have contacted Lovely Candy Company regarding this issue. They advise that due to the manufacturing process they cannot evenly distribute the flavors in the package. They did say that the tan color candy could possibly be Mango flavor, from a different product line. They should be able to include only the advertised flavors.

We're a food allergy family, and we tend to be pretty low-sugar anyway, but when my kids's friends are enjoying candy for special occasions, it's great to have something for them that they LOVE, and that I know isn't going to make them sick or send us to the hospital. We enjoy a variety of candies from these confectioners, but my kiddos really love these chews!

We saw these candies featured on an episode of 'Unwrapped 2.0' on the Cooking Channel recently, and we just had to try them. They definitely live up to the "Lovely" name with their easy soft chew and three tasty flavors (my favorite is the lemon). I took off a star for packaging due to the slight challenge with peeling off the individual wrapping, and also a challenge with getting the zip lock bag top to open (I ended up having to cut off the top and then put the remaining portion in a regular zip lock baggie). The cost for a 5oz bag on Amazon was a little pricey, but overall, a very good candy that I would buy again.

The product was soft when I received it, just like fresh St-rb-rst before they get shipped to the stores. So I am glad I bought the chewy candies! Being non-dairy , and free from gluten and nuts made this an allergy-friendly buy!

I bought these as favors for my son’s fourth birthday party. He can’t have food dyes, and we are careful about his sugar intake as well. The other moms loved finding out that it is possible to have a healthier, dye free version of a favorite candy! And the kids (and the adults) really enjoyed the flavors and texture of these. The only drawback is the price, but since one shouldn’t be gorging on this or any other candy, I find the increased cost doable and worth it.

These are delicious. The Lemon ones are the best and there were not enough of them in the bag. The other flavors are also delicious though. They taste like a healthy Starburst without the nasties.

I bought two packets. One had sixteen yellow/lemon with five red. The other pack had sixteen yellow and 8 red. Taste was nice but for the high price I wanted more evenly a mixture of the red and was seriously not a happy chappy nor my daughter.

The kids loved these!!! Will order again for sure!!!

Unfortunately, I did not like this product and neither did my husband or kids. All the colours taste the same and there's a weird flavour to them.
