great seller, great product, already making delicious labneh spreads with this
If you're worried that your kefir grains will get spoiled in transport, you can just go ahead and order now. I had some issues with my kefir, I mean the grains were fine, but it's normal that extra yeast will build up because of the trip and the first several batches might not have a good smell/taste until the excessive yeast is released and the culture balances itself out. I wish I knew all that last time I bought kefir - I bought it a couple of years ago from another Amazon seller, thought it was spoiled, and threw it away. Well, this time I was luckier. The kefir comes with a small informational pamphlet with instructions that the seller put together. Just prepare a fully plastic strainer ahead, although it's not the end of the world if you don't have one. Anyhow, in the beginning my kefir didn't smell great and the surface of the kefir was yellow-ish. That was the extra yeast being released. The grains looked healthy and firm, though. I was unsure because of the smell, so I checked with the seller. They were super responsive and kind and told me that the grains looked great and that I was good as long as the grains looked good, and if by any off case a batch got spoiled, they would replace it for me. After a couple of milk batches, the flavor improved. I was even able to set aside and test a small amount with coconut milk after that, and produce a tasty coconut probiotic beverage. This is something that I tried to achieve with yogurt before and kept failing multiple times and I'm not exactly new to fermentation (especially when it comes to yogurt), but making properly textured coconut yogurt is not easy, unless you keep buying really expensive starters or just get lucky with the combination of factors. No matter what YouTubers say to make people click. But you can make coconut kefir pretty reliably though. Since kefir is naturally adapted to lactose and can't really survive on other sugars long term, I'd suggest you always have backup grains if you want to try this, and you'll need to put them into (dairy) milk again every couple of batches. I also made labneh with kefir. As I strained the grains out, I mixed a bit of salt into the kefir and put it into a small cheesecloth straining bag hanging on the mouth of a mason jar (like straining mesh on a strainer frame). The bag is suspended in the air by the jar lid and kefir is strained for 24hrs in the fridge. The end product is thick and creamy, similar to cream cheese. It's thicker and tangier than the labneh made from yogurt. I seasoned it with different aromatic herbs and it made a great dip. All in all - I totally recommend this seller, A+

Excellent quality grains to make your own milk kefir - SO EASY!
Arrived within a few days, as promised. Worked like a charm, just follow the instructions. The first 2-3 times it took about 48 hours for the kefir to grow and the milk to thicken. It even separated once when I left it out too long as it was growing (I was adding more milk so the times had to be adjusted). That is not a problem, though, just mix it and drink as usual! After a week of use it was plenty strong and I was able to use more milk each time (even doubling to 2 cups). After a few weeks I had enough grains to get a friend started! Very nice product. BTW I use a metal funnel with a strainer, and a metal spoon to gently help it through, then pour the ready milk into a glass bottle and keep that in the fridge, placing the grains from the strainer into a new jar for a new batch. It's not a problem to use metal, just don't keep it in metal! Great product. Recommend!

NatuDelight Kefir grains
Product was delivered late but once it came, it was fantastic. Easy instructions and after about two weeks, the grains were fully activated and the kefir was far superior to store bought products. Excellent quality and value.

I am well on my way in the process of creating kefir to drink.
I received my kefir grains one day early, and the kefir grains arrived looking and smelling healthy. Included in the package were clear instructions on keeping the grains healthy, the kind of milk to use starting out, and how to make milk kefir to drink. Not only is there a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but the seller also provides his phone number and email address so I can ask questions, as I have been doing.

This is the 1st time purchasing kefir from this seller and I am so glad I did. I had a problem when it arrived, I contacted the seller and they immediately sent a new batch. Let me tell you, I am 72 yrs. Old and have never enjoyed drinking and making a new batch daily. Customer svc. Is amazing. I would definitely order for this company again.

Burgalos/Bulgarides
Shipping time to arrival prolonged about one week. My worries was that they could be contaminated since they were yellow ish upon arrival and took 3 times to clean. After, the 4th wash they began producing. I enjoyed them for about three weeks and somehow someone in my family mistakenly through them out. All that work for nothing, Ugh
