PARTS4EV UJ Sterling Gray Metallic Touch Up Paint Compatible with Ford Exact Match–Chips and Nicks Touch Up

I purchased this touch-up paint to repair a nasty rock chip (more like a meteor impact crater - including the raised area around the outside of the impact crater) in 'D4 Rapid Red' for a 2024 Ford Mustang. After having difficulty in the past with touch-up paint on several other vehicles, I was certain that whatever touch-up paint I purchased it wasn't going to match. Imagine my surprise when (despite the nasty impact crater) this paint matched PERFECTLY. And I do mean PERFECTLY! Although the damage is still visible because of the raised material (I may do a little sanding/grinding in the future to remove that material), the paint itself performed and matched the color better than I ever could have imagined. The picture shows the 'crater' filled with the touch-up paint. I didn't try to cover the razor thin scratch or 'dot' above the 'crater' (both of which were also caused by the 'meteor' that hit my car). The brush that's included (attached to the cap) is good for most larger damage (such as in my case). The extra brush that's included would be good for very large damage. I recommend using a toothpick or other sharp device for very small repairs (such as the scratch and 'dot' within my picture).

The paint pen matches my 2011 F150 perfectly. It was easy to use and seemed to blend my chips and scratches in pretty well. It’s not a bad deal as it filled quite a few chips in my paint and I still have some left over. It’s been almost a year now and the paint is still holding strong at all my chips that I filled. Overall the quality is good, it was easy to apply and have it look nice, it covered a large area, and the color matches. Over all pleased

Goes on good, takes a couple applications, when wet it matches good but when it dries there is a slight change. Dry color is a little lighter than the Ruby Red

I shook this pen for several minutes, even though it only indicates to shake for 30 seconds, and the paint was still very thin. Took 4–5 coats to cover the scratches.

Even after shaking vigorously, the paint was still too thin/clear to even cover. It would take multiple coats to cover a scratch. I could find nail polish that would work better at 1/4 the price

Great price, and a perfect match for my vehicle’s color — at half the cost of the dealer’s price.
