Schiele: The Midnight Soul of the Artist

I wanted this after watching a recent programme about the artist.the book gave me all the info I wanted and great pictures of his art.

Excellent and as expected. A good reference to add to others of an artist that I like but previously had no reference work

The book was more of a biography than an example of his work. Very interesting though. Rather too many of his self portraits for my liking.

I love Schieles work and i got this because it was cheap. The book is ok there is lots of text and images, but doesn't blow you away. It seems like something you would find in a school. I love my artists books but this one does not do his work any justice. So if i were you look for a better book as i am.
