Excellent smaller sized phone with good performance. Excessive Motorola UI overlay spoils it a bit
Nice phone purchased more for its smaller size and lower weight to replace a 5 year old Xiaomi Mi9SE. Modern phones are getting too large for comfortably fitting into shirt pockets. Lenses are also beginning to stick out further from the phone. This phone is about the maximum size for comfortable portability. Specifications are ok though nothing special. Better specs are available at lower prices from Samsung and Xiaomi. Perhaps it's android 14 and its plethora of additional features, but this phone is not much faster than the 5 year old Xiaomi running on android 10 Camera is good but complex built-in AI picture processing make it difficult to judge the quality. Colour fidelity in particular is variable from near perfect to slightly too saturated. Charging is fast. Wireless charging is a boon. Battery life is impressive but such is usually the case with a new battery. A little concerning is the accuracy of the battery % indicator which remains at 100% for the first 5 hours on standby but falls to 96% after the next 5 hours with the rate of decline getting progressively faster as it remains in standby. Screen quality, brightness and sound quality are excellent. A problem in the UK is that it has only one physical sim slot and the other is e-sim. Currently, the more economical service providers do not offer e-sims. Hopefully, the situation will improve in the future. Biggest problem for me with this phone is that it has no microSD slot, so the 256GB is not expandable. With the OS taking more memory and new apps getting bigger, 256GB is going to be a problem for anyone who prefers privacy to dumping everything to the cloud or attaching a card leader to the USB C port. Alas, I may have to replace this with a phone with bigger storage or microSD card slot. Which I subsequently did when a 512GB version became available at a lower price during Amazons extended return window at the end of the year. It performs just like the 256GB version and with the same disappointing photo quality - Variable colour fidelity, too much colour saturation. Vibrant colours may be preferred by reviewers but I prefer my photos to reflect actual colours! So backed up my photos and returned the unit and replaced it with a refurbished Google Pixel8. To my horror, found that the saved photos from the Motorola is much to the same quality as Pixel8 photos when viewed on a PC, to my naked eye at least. So the problem appears to be in Motorola's UI overlay which adds many more features including additional screen colour adjustment over stock android, so that photos are displayed with enhanced colours. So it appears that this Motorola takes high fidelity photos but "enhances" them when displayed on the phone's screen. I am now seriously regretting having returned the 512GB unit! If you prefer your photos to be displayed with enhanced vibrant colours and can cope with additional adjustments added by Motorola and if can you get the 512GB version at sub £300 (Prices keep going up and down on Amazon), this is a seriously brilliant phone.

Great phone 🤳
This is a great phone 📱 Ok so as others have written it doesn't have a charger which is shocking, however all the other companies do the same (Apple & Samsung) but the phone is much cheaper. The phone screen quality is amazing and the size of 6.4" is great (Comfortable size). Although it doesn't have a screen protector which is also annoying. 😔 The processor nice and snappy for general day to day phone use, work, apps and social media. I'm not really a gamer so can't comment. I personally have had no hiccups with any apps. 📸 The camera is great in normal light, not a high end flagship obviously but takes really good looking natural pictures. In lower light it is ok 🫠 🔋 Battery life is amazing considering the small capacity but with the energy efficient chip it works flawlessly and easily lasts a whole day of my heavy use. Charging: fast charging is brilliant with the compatible 67w charger (additional charge) or 15w wireless charging is available which is great 😃 👍. I would definitely recommend this phone but if your gonna complain about not having a charger maybe this phone isn't for you.

An amazing phone for the price with Google pixel features. BEWARE about the durability of the screen
Amazing phone with a decent screen and cameras (has the same features as the Pixel 8 Pro in some ways) I loved it, only had it 1 day and dropped it from about 2 feet and it shattered the screen. Very sad now the phone is a paperweight. Doesn’t come with a screen protector from the factory either. If you buy this phone from day one make sure you install a decent screen protector before you even set it up) Phone comes with a nice case also. It has fast charging too. Overall decent phone

Exceptional value quality phone
For the price paid this is an exceptional quality phone. I got this to replace my damaged Pixel 8, which although is a much more expensive phone overall I think the cheaper Moto wins out. I used to be an avid Moto fan but turned away when they stopped providing OS updates to their models. However as they've increased the number of OS updates once more I was happy to give them another go. This phone is a great size, I'm not a fan of huge phones and I find they hurt my hand with continued use. This thankfully is a very happy medium. The phone works great and in the months I've had it works well. The only niggle for me is the camera app, it seems rather sluggish and slow to respond. However overall I am more than happy with the phone and it is exceptional value for money when comparing to other brands.

Lovely colour
I’ve tried a few Motorola mid range phones, they are always as a backup to my current iPhone so I don’t use them as much as normal. This phone is well made and is a lovely colour too. It comes with the usual USB-C charging lead and surprisingly a cover exactly the same colour as the phone. It’s running Android 14 which I hope will update soon. Motorola add a few “Moto” features and you can stop the crappy games and random apps being installed when you set it up. I like the fresh version of stock Android. Performance is adequate as is the camera system. It’s my favourite Moto phone so far.

Good phone. False specs. I got 8Gb/256Gb version instead 12/512. Felt scammed. It DOES NOT have 5000mAh battery. 4310. Price too high comparatively. I only kept it because son doesn't care about it. So this is one star for.
