Awesome Picnic Blanket
I'm obsessed with this blanket! It's tiny folded up - you could even fit it in your pocket. Simple set up and has little stakes connected to it (not sharp). Easy to wipe down and has lines showing you how to quickly fold back up. Good size for 2 people, probably too cramped for 3 (even kids).

Great companion for family travel
This pocket blanket has been great for our family to use while on the go. It easily covers dirty picnic tables and is just large enough for our family of 4. The waterproof feature works well and dirt washes off easily. I do have to remove a start as the "weighted" corners need to be slightly heaver as it is almost too light which makes it hard to get situated and fold on windy days.

Buy this!!!
I would buy this again. It has a diagram to help fold it printed on blanket and the pouch attached to blanket. I was able to easily repack. This is extremely functional. It's made of tent like material that's just soft enough but still water resistant. It's thin like tent material. I have the 2-4 person version. This will allow 4 people to sit butt to butt and two people comfortably.

Really impressive for its size
So I am quite impressed with the Matador blanket…it's pretty nearly exactly what I hoped it would be. The first, and most obvious, thing about it is its packed size…it folds up into a pouch the size of a deck of playing cards or a wallet…it's easily small enough to fit into a pants pocket. But when folded out, it's actually pretty large. I would say that it allows two people to comfortably sit…four people might fit, but things might get a bit tight. If you need to accommodate more than three people, I think it's best to get the larger model. I mostly use mine at outdoor concerts…on lawns that are often damp…even after two or three days after a rain…and so I know the blanket is water resistant because nearly every time I use mine, I notice a concert neighbor, someone who's sitting on an ordinary blanket, stand up to reveal his/her shorts are soaking wet…whereas mine are always dry. One of the things that I was really impressed with are the little spikes that come with the blanket that allow you to anchor it into ground. They actually work great…much better than I expected they would. What's especially nice is that they're all attached to the blanket by little nylon bungee cords…they're not going to get lost…and they're made out of enameled metal…so they're actually quite strong for their size. There are lines on the blanket which show you how to fold it up…these can be a bit tough to see in the dark (at least for the color of blanket I have)…but I was always able to see them. About the only issue I had…and it's more of a "duh" moment on my part…was how to put the folded blanket back into the pouch. For anyone as confused as I was, the pouch behaves like an inside-out sock when the blanket is outside of it. What you wanna do is pull the pouch up from the bottom like you were putting a foot into an inside-out sock…hopefully that makes some kind of sense. Another warning is that this ins't some kind of warming blanket…it's more of a barrier to the elements. When I go to concerts, I also bring a small fuzzy blanket with me to put on top of the Matador. The fuzzy blanket is for comfort…the Matador is to keep dirt, sand, water, away…and it does that very nicely indeed.

Tiny and packable
Great for a personal blanket to sit on. It's super compact and easy to fold. I had no issues laying out and packing up all day, multiple times.

A convenient travel accessory
Bought this for a music festival and international trip. I compared to a less expensive travel blanket that claimed to be fully waterproof. I filled both with water like balloons, and the water in the cheaper blanket immediately began to drip through the fabric. The Matador blanket did allow water to permeate, but it took some time for droplets to form on the dry side. This is sufficient for me. I haven't tried the blanket on wet ground, but I suspect it'll do a fairly decent job of staying dry. I did use the blanket as a makeshift poncho during a rain storm, however, and it worked.Pros: very water resistant (though not waterproof); very small and light; built-in stakes are convenientCon: fabric doesn't like to fold neatly—can be a bit of a challenge to fold back into its pouch if you're in a rush
