This is a great massager, I love that has heat and can massage both sides of your legs. It has multiple modes and can be used for a variety of muscle aches. I have frequent shoulder pain and this is the perfect size and intensity for it. I love that it comes with a remote to change the settings .

I really like this back massager—it makes my back feel noticeably better after using it. The remote feature is a nice bonus and makes it super convenient to adjust without having to get up or reach around. The massage nodes feel great, and I love that you can easily move it around to target different areas depending on where you need relief. Bob and Brad is a reliable company with good-quality products, and this one lives up to that reputation. I already own other massage products from them, and I’ve been happy with all of them.

Update: Customer service was excellent so that made the experience of product much better! Things to consider: Shape: works if lying flat on back because pillow is only useful if you have counter pressure with body weight. Button control: the on/off button is located in back of pillow so sometimes it will accidentally be pressed and turn off. Sound: there is a loud “beep” when remote controls are used: turn on/off, to change massage direction, intensity, or for the heat setting- located on pillow next to ear I don’t think there is a way to turn the volume completely off- if there is, I haven’t found it. Remote: it’s convenient to change setting but there is no light/indication on the remote itself to show if heat is on, you have to look at the pillow itself to see if the red light is illuminating.

Product worked great! The shape/design is very versatile. It really helped me out when I had a lot of tension in my neck area--2 sessions and the pain was gone! I had a small issue and Customer Service was very fast and friendly with helping me with my situation. I will be purchasing more Bob and Brad products!

First let me start by saying that I am not usually a fan of massagers. I am always looking for something to help with my neck stiffness and pain. Since I ordered and started using the Bob and Brad Back and Neck Massager I have changed my way of thinking. The unit is very easy to use right out of the box. It comes with a comfort cover, which I find very nice to use especially when working my neck area. And it can be set for massaging with or without heat. There are also two different settings (directions) for the massage rollers inside the unit that provide a different feel/experience. Honestly, this thing is wonderful. In the short time that I have had it, I have already noticed it helping my neck soreness. I put on my relaxing music or set up for a meditation session, turn on the back and neck massager and the rest is history. I love it so much I have already recommended to friends and family to try. The only suggestion I would have to improve the product, would be to make a slightly longer cord or better yet, make it rechargeable. It’s not a game changer, but in my opinion, could only make the unit better.

More Pain Than Relief — Very Disappointed I purchased the BOB AND BRAD Back and Neck Massager with Heat hoping for deep, relaxing relief after long work days. Sadly, it has been a massive letdown—so much so that I’m giving it a hard 1 star. First, the massage intensity is extremely weak. It feels like very light vibration rather than a strong, kneading massage. When I try to lean into it for more pressure, the device barely makes a dent. For something advertised as a “deep” or “intense” massager, it grossly underdelivers. The heat function doesn’t add much either. It warms up, but very slowly, and the warmth isn’t strong enough to soothe stiff muscles. Instead of feeling comforting, it’s barely noticeable. It doesn’t soothe or loosen anything—it’s more like mild warmth that disappears quickly. On top of that, the design is uncomfortable. The shape doesn’t contour well to my neck or back, so it constantly slips or shifts around when I move. The straps (if there are any) don’t hold it securely, and I feel like I’m constantly readjusting it just to get any contact. As a result, it never really stays where I need it to. Noise is another problem. It’s louder than I expected for something that’s supposed to help you relax — the motors hum annoyingly, and it makes enough noise to distract from whatever else I’m trying to do, whether watching TV or resting quietly. Durability also seems questionable. The materials feel cheap and plasticky, and after a few uses, the padding is already showing signs of wear. I’m worried this thing won’t last long; I certainly don’t trust its build quality. Finally, after using it multiple times, I noticed almost zero improvement in my neck or back tension. I bought it to help relieve pain and stiffness, but instead I feel like I wasted my money. I ended up more annoyed than relaxed. In short: The BOB AND BRAD Back and Neck Massager with Heat is weak, uncomfortable, and ineffective. It didn’t deliver the deep massage or real heat comfort I was promised — definitely not worth it, especially at this price. One very disappointed buyer.

This massager is different from other massagers I have used because the rollers have a lighter touch which felt wonderful on my back as opposed to others that hurt. It feels truly amazing under my shoulder blades to relax the rotator cuff after weight lifting. I wished I had purchased the one with the pillow but it relaxes everything. I also purchased the hand massager that helped my arthritic hands. Made them feel amazing.

Pros: * battery seems decent — daily usage for about 3 mos and run time still seems the same * feels nice — I don’t need to use it, but I do anyway * versatile — easy to position where you want Cons: - parts are already breaking - cannot be used while plugged in, and it takes 1-2 hours to charge - cover can’t be removed without cutting it open, so I’m guessing the batteries can’t be replaced, either I’m a small guy, but leaning my back on it while sitting caused one of the balls to audibly crack. I wasn’t even leaning that hard. Gradually, the motor gears on that side wore out, such that it can’t bear any resistance at all before the gears slip. I was hoping a name-brand product sold at a reasonable price would be better. Update: The battery version eventually wore out its gears such that the massage heads couldn’t turn, so its total lifespan was 4 mos. Fortunately, Bob & Brad customer support team saw my review and offered to replace the battery version with the corded one. I’ve been using the corded one for a week, and it seems markedly better than the battery version. The build quality seems more robust, and there’s no wait time for charging, or concern about batteries being replaceable. Also, it comes with a remote. Despite the cord, I find it just as convenient as the battery version. It was very kind of B&B to give me a free replacement despite being past Amazon’s return window, but since my purchase was for the battery version and nothing about it has changed, I’m leaving my rating at 3*.
