This case has made a great first impression on me with regard to: value, fit on the Mac book, texture and weight. Pops right on and will provide protection from minor bumping and liquids. The main reason I bought the case was to add some texture to an otherwise cold hunk of aluminum that all Apple products have, from what I have read, out of the need to use the chassis as a heat sink. Feels great on the Mac and is less slippery to hold now too. The rubber feet have good traction. On this cold Fall day, the case makes it pleasant to carry the Mac around. Not much added bulk so the laptop with a case on slips easily into a backpack. Not sure about the durability of this product - time will tell.

I’m very happy with this computer case. The dark color complements my MacBook perfectly and gives it a clean, sleek look. It appears to be very well made and feels sturdy without adding unnecessary bulk. Installation was quick and easy, and once it’s on, it holds securely. It doesn’t come off on its own unless I intentionally remove it, which gives me confidence that it would protect my computer well in the event of a drop. Overall, this case feels durable, looks great, and is something I’d confidently recommend to friends.

Fits well and it’s easy to install. It works well to protect the MacBook from scratches but it’s not intended to protect from a fall. Seems durable and well made. Stays on.

This thing is great. Highly recommended , TLDR While it does not scream super high quality, the type of material that it is does 2 really important things while also protecting the Mac from scratches and minor bumps. 1. Adds a grip to the MacBook that is meaningful and nice to the touch and makes the MacBook sit on your lap in more positions compared to without it. 2. Allows the MacBook to breathe pretty much like the cover is not even on. Ventilation is fantastic. All while being thin and light, also, some other small things Not affecting the weight of the screen to much, heavy clip on laptop cases cause the MacBook screen to to close or open all the way when the MacBook is moved. This one prevents that from happening (not all the time since the screen on the MacBook is carefully designed to weigh a specific amount so it is perfectly balanced and it does not move, so adding to the weight in any way disrupts this balance.) This is definitely the lightest clip on case I have ever used I could not be happier with this, if you want something thin a light to protect you MacBook, I'd highly recommend this!

Time will tell how well it endures and what protection it provides - but the initial fit/feel seem nice. Just the right amount of flex to easily install, definitely not the "is this going to break" sensation of many more expensive competing products. Hope that holds true over time as the durability of other products I previously used has not been the best. Especially case corners as they bump into everything and crack. This one feels like it may not do that while still providing decent protection. Color is a bit funky - more of a bronze than anything black. Which is completely okay with me... Finish is a nice grippy surface, so not hard to hold onto. If it holds up for more than a year, at this price, it will be a nice bargain!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very nice! This product feels professional, like it was made by apple. Fits my MAC like it should have always been there. The material is a little textured and I like that. I can still see my apple logo on the back, I like that. It does feel brittle like my last case that was prone to cracks and peeling. If you're looking for protection with style, look no further! Fit: I didn't know it when I bought it, but now that I have it. Perfect fit, easy to install. Build quality: I didn't know it when I bought it, but now that I have it. Color: This most suites the color I wanted to buy when I bought the MAC but it was unavailable, so now I have the dark gray I wanted.
