Tough, Comfortable, and 100% Worth It
These NORTIV 8 ARMADILLO-STL steel toe boots have quickly become my go-to for daily work. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks on construction and outdoor jobs, and they’ve held up perfectly through rain, mud, and rough terrain. The waterproofing actually works — I’ve stepped in standing water and my feet stayed completely dry. The fit (size 11) was true to size right out of the box, and the padding around the ankle and tongue makes them surprisingly comfortable for a steel toe boot. I can wear them all day without sore feet or blisters. The tread has great traction, and the steel toe protection feels solid without being heavy or bulky. The brown/black/tan combo looks great and hides dirt well. For the price, the quality is excellent — durable stitching, strong soles, and no signs of wear yet. If you need dependable, comfortable safety boots that look good and actually perform, these are a fantastic choice.

Good, cheap work boot for wide feet
Very comfortable and work great for my husband who works in food delivery, delivering large boxes and using dollys all day. They are wide enough for his wide feet, don’t slip, are water resistant, and are great for the wallet. His only complaint is that they aren’t the most breathable and there is a lot of sweat going on.

Well made and accurate fit.
The quality of the product is excellent and the sizing is very accurate. The boot is very comfortable and I am very happy with it.

A good value for the price for a boot I don't wear all day everyday.
I do not wear these on a daily basis, so this will just be a general review. I wear them when doing tasks around the outside of the house, mowing lawn, etc. These boots are comfortable. They fit very well, true to size and the feel good wearing them for at least 6 hours. These are the first pair of steel toed boots I have owned, so this may be normal, but I do feel the steel protruding from the bottom. I can feel it on the big toe of both feet. I can feel it, but it doesn't bother my feet which was a concern. They are waterproof to an extent. I walked through 4 inches of water and a little water did seep through. On my size 11 wide, the 4 inch mark is the height of the 3rd eyelet, from the bottom of the boot. After walking through 3 inches of water, my feet were still dry. Keep the water depth below 4 inches/the 3rd eyelet and your feet will probably stay dry. I just walked through the water, only stopping to see how far up the boot the water came. If I stayed in the water for more than a couple minutes, I expect my feet would have been wet. I not really concerned with how they look. I just want to protect my feet, so I can't help with how stylish they are or are not. My only complaint is that the tongue on the left boot is not as long as the tongue on the right boot. On the right boot, when the laces are tied, the tongue extends maybe 3/8 of an inch above the top of the laces. On the left boot, the tongue extends that much on the right side, but on the left side it is just above the top of the laces, maybe like an 1/8" of an inch above. It's not a big deal, but it is odd. I thought of returning them because of this, but decided to keep them since I don't use them all day everyday. For occasional use, I would not hesitate to buy these again. I am sure I could easily spend 2 to 3 times the amount these cost and get a better boot, but for my use these are just what I need.

Highly Recommend!
Precisely as described. The boots fit beautifully. The size is slightly larger than it says so if you are a 10.5 for instance, I would recommend getting a size 10 and so forth. I've been wearing them about 5 days and they are very comfortable. The first day was break in period and at first the steel toe was hitting into my foot when taking a step but has since subsided doing so after a short amount of use. I absolutely would give these a go if you are looking for a comfortable, great fitting, weather proof work boot. ***EDIT*** January 10th- for the last 3 weeks the boots have held up just fine but the downside is that the left boot somehow creases into my foot and makes it incredibly painful to walk. The right boot is absolutely fine. I cannot figure out why the left boot is doing this but I have to assume it is a defect in the placement of the steel toe during manufacturing. These have become a $50 loss.

Good price, comfortable, and great traction
I purchased the Nortiv 8 Steel Toe shoes for cutting firewood. Today I wore them for about 4.5 hours while cutting 50 pound plus oak round logs. The shoes provided great traction while dragging round logs up a hill to stack in a pile. They also provided great traction when pushing a large wheel barrel loaded with firewood up the hill. I never really lost traction while moving logs. Only a couple of slips because of the dirt giving way in the creek bed. As for comfort, these are comparable to the Armadillo 2s. I noticed that one shoe developed some micro tears on one side of the Oxford fabric upper after cleaning the mud off. The tears are not all the way though the soft shell fabric yet. These should have been manufactured with the Suede Upper like my Noritiv 8 Amardillo 2s. The insoles are terrible. Buy better quality for more comfort. I do not see these lasting for multiple years worth of fire wood cutting.

Comfortable, durable, the best water resistant shoes (better only rubber boots) so far. I sometimes work all day in the rain outside and by the end of the day my feet only slightly wet (I think it's normal, even in rubber boots the condensate can make the inside wet). Used them heavily for 5 months, still everything fine (exept shoelaces) The wide option is really wide (even with two pairs of socks I have plenty of room there), so be carefull ordering it if you have normal size feet.

Lovely, comfortable, water proof boot. True size, lovely to wear from day one, no breaking in needed. Excellent price, great value.

Seem fine. Well made and very comfortable. Can’t comment on durability, I usually kill a pair of boots off in a year. If these last that long I will be more than happy, especially for the price I paid for them.

The boots are very warm and comfortable, but they’re not as lightweight as I expected or as described in the product details. You can’t really rely on them for long hikes, but they’re good for work
