Brilliant for helping me to read
These reading rulers have been a lifesaver for me as I have been trying to study something for upskilling in my job, and I have such trouble reading large blocks of text. These can separate out the sentences for me, whilst also providing a colour overlay so that the page is not as bright and I can focus on the words.

Helps daughter
Daughter uses these for reading and homework. The hue is ideal for her and the line helps her keep on track without missing words. Perfect size for most pages. Got a pack of 10 as we find they do get scratched.

Helpful for secondary-aged pupils
I am a school teacher of secondary school-aged pupils, and purchased these to help students with dyslexia to read in lessons. They have proved so overwhelmingly popular with all classes aged 11-16 that I have had to purchase additional packs to have a whole class set! The classes I have 'trialled' them with ask for them every lesson. Getting pupils to read has been a challenge in the past, but the reading rulers have helped the children to develop more of an enthusiasm for reading (although that could just be the novelty of them). It has also helped to de-stigmatise dyslexia and other reading difficulties. Would highly recommend to other teachers for classroom use, or for home use with pupils who have difficulties reading or disengage when reading. Great product.

" The words stopped moving"
I bought these to give to my tutoring students that I suspected may be dyslexic. The first thing one student said was " The words stopped moving!" Othe reactions we're less dramatic but they have proved useful to many students.

Other reading rulers just have a line. These have a bar which can be used to block out text above or below. This is a bigger help for my dyslexic readers who need to block out text. From watching my readers, it's pretty 50/50. 1. Some use the bar to block text <below> where they're reading, so the ruler is under the text. 2. Some use the bar to block text >above< where they're reading, so the ruler is above the text. 3. My non-dyslexic readers often use the ruler just to follow along and keep their place when we're reading. I like to read ahead, so I like the second way.

Très pratique le choix des couleurs, l'enfant peut ainsi choisir la couleur qui lui convient le mieux.
