Got this to add to my daughter’s cuddly toy. The instructions were clear to follow, but the sound quality isn’t the best unfortunately, this is before putting it into the toy. The sound itself is quite muffled. I think instead of doing messages, sounds would be better for this. It’s a shame as the unit itself seems well built and it was good value for money.

I didn't expect the audio recording to be great, at £7.99. However, the quality is truly abysmal. Distorted, muffled and quiet. Avoid.

With a grandchild on the way, I ordered this voice recorder hoping to make a unique soft toy for when she’s born. On the positive side, using the instructions on the listing page, this is really simple to use ….you can easily and quickly add a 60 second voice, sound, or even music recording ( I’m adding a tiger roar to my homemade tiger toy ), and if something goes wrong or you change your mind, you can simply erase and re-record. And once installed, you simply press to hear the recording. However, the sound quality is poor- it’s quite muffled, even before adding it into a toy …which then inevitably muffles it even more. For £7.29 at time of reviewing, it’s reasonable value for what you get…..all in all, this is ok-it just isn’t fantastic!
