Very lightweight but still so much space for a weekend or maybe even a week away.
I did quite a bit of research between Bellroy's travel backs and some other brands. I kept coming back to the Bellroy Travel Lite Backpack (I went for 38L). I considered the hard case and the Lite Carry-on (the one with wheels) but the light weight nature of this one was the main thing that won me over. It really is lightweight but packs loads of room for items. I love the laptop area (partially concealed) and the built in packing cube zips are a nice touch. I decided to go for this option as I wanted straps (instead of the wheeled carry on) and these can be hidden behind the back panel to make it easier for storing on trains or overhead cabins. It is more expensive than some brands but the quality seems to be very good so far!

Value for the money lightweight high quality

The quality is very nice but it is not suitable for taller people. I'm just over 6ft and the bag sits too high and uncomfortable. No load lifters means the bag falls back on top leaving a big gap between the back panel and your back at the top. I ended up going with the Tortuga 40l.

Negatives: -The lack of ventral belt makes it a bit uncomfortable (had backpain in my lower back) if you pack it hard (i manage to fill it with arround 6 kg of clothes) and walk with it during hours (2,3 hours in my case). At that price it's a shame you have to buy more stuff to fix what don't work... -The lack of bottle holder, same as for the ventral belt i, ll buy one... Same complain as for the ventral belt... Shame you have to buy it Positives: -There is so much space in there, you can pack it hard (managed to fit arround 6kg of stuff in there) -Looks good -Practical layout. Not too restrictive, but still organized -i like the fact that you can customise the bag with the loops. Need to use it more to know if it's sturdy in the long term
