User friendly setup easy peasy
Great TV for the price and the size. It was very easy to set up & very user friendly. Picture and sound quality were good for the size and price of the TV. Strongly considering Vizio now on my larger tv purchases just because of the simplicity and the built-in cast option.

Miss the simplicity of the last decade of "smart"
I was thrilled that replacing my smaller tv ten years later was less than half the price! That said, for an older person, that was the onnly upside. I had to spend an inordinate amount of time, hours actually, after plugging in getting it set up even close to the easy way my old tv worked, which was smart too but obviously not brilliant! I long for some simplicity in all these set ups. Cheap tv but tons of ads to pay for this streaming service or that, tons of passwords to be added in ever changing set ups....some resemble a keyboard, some alphabetical...why not all the same? The tv requires me to tap the remote so many times before I reach my morning news show and often seems confused as to what show it is on, and defaults back to home screen so I can start over! Not sure if this is a factor of my fiber optic cable internet but was told that was so much better I am not sure what is at fault. All I know is I wish for the simplicity of a ten year old tv, never to be seen again.

Really Pleased
I have purchased refurbished desktop PCs in the past with excellent results, so I decided it would be a good deal to save money and buy a refurbished TV. My old TV (16 yrs flat screen) was a 720P and did not have all the current ways to connect with different devices. I will connect it to my desktop to see if I can use it as a monitor. The challenge for me is the digital features themselves. I'm 79 and an analog person. All digital is a challenge to learn because most of it makes no sense to me. This means reading the instructions multiple times and hoping for the best. When in doubt, I push buttons until something happens. After about an hour and a half, I decided to do a factory reset and try again. After another hour, I gave up and called tech support. Fortunately, I got a patient person who stayed with me through about 40 minutes of back and forth until we got everything working. This Vizio has Wifi, HDMI, Optical Audio, antenna/cable, Bluetooth, HDMI-Arc, etc. I am hard of hearing and had tried all methods available with my old TV to get the best sound, but it was still not the best. First, I tried Bluetooth with the Vizio, but the headphones I got were average at best. I don't want a sound bar because I would be blasting the adjacent apartments to have the volume where I could hear it. I decided to go back to using the Super Ear amplifier with very good over-the-ear headphones. The Vizio has really good sound. That sound plus using the Super Ear means I can operate the TV at a volume level comfortable for guests and my cats and still get clear sound for myself. The 1080p screen provides truly sharp picture like being there in person. I managed to connect my DVD player and get it functioning well. Even my discs recorded off my old TV are crisp with good audio. I had a Roku attached to my old TV. It was a surprise to find the Vizio has a built-in 'Watch Free' service that is basically the same. That is the remaining feature I have not yet tried. The AT&T Internet Air I got in December works flawlessly with the Vizio to give me web entertainment. It really is like having my own theater at home. Don't hesitate to buy a refurbished TV. This one is a winner.

Disappointed in this Vizio
I have always bought Vizio televisions. I am very disappointed in this one. It constantly goes off on its own then refuses to come back on with the controller. It will freeze all the time not from the Internet or the streaming device the television itself just freezes goes black and then refuses to come back on. This one is not a good one
