I received my BaByliss Air Power Volume - 2-in-1 Hair Dryer and Styler today and immediately tried it out. I have a dense head of hair with strands that are medium in thickness with a length just below shoulder length. This dryer/styler exceeded my expectations! It has lots of power at 1000w to dry your hair properly without frizz. The barrel brush, although bigger than I am used to, is actually perfect for adding volume and makes the rotation motion much easier to do. It does get hot but it does come with a protective glove and I found that once I was familiar with where the heat comes from, I kept my hand at the top part of the barrel brush. If you are looking for something powerful that can dry and style both wet and dry hair then I highly recommend this product.

I’ve used so many blow dry brushes and this is definitely the best one. I’ve tried on wet and dry hair in the different modes and it works really well. My hair feels really smooth after and not damaged compared to others I’ve tried. It dried my hair really fast and the volume was really easy to achieve. The colour is so stunning. Definitely recommend!

Purchased this on a Black Friday deal as I've been looking around for a hot brush for a while. I opened it up and thought it was a bit massive! The barrel etc is fine but the arm bit you need to hold felt really unwieldly. I plugged it in and wanted to see what the temperatures were like, but I felt there wasn't really much difference other than "hot". As a menopausal woman, being hot is a thing I'm having to live with, despite being on HRT! So I would prefer to have something that will a) not knacker my arms trying to sort my hair out and b) make me sweaty so that when I've done with the brush, my hair around my neck is stuck to my neck and frizzy again! Unfortunately, this hot brush doesn't work for me so I sent it back and as a consequence, my search for a hot brush that has decent temperature control and will give me a good amount of smoothness and volume continues.

This gadget is very large, heavy and unwieldy. No way I could work on my hair with it!

It's big. it's longer and 50% heavier than a GHD for example. But very easy to use and I've dry wiry hair and it gives a great look. Many compliments for my blowdry that I did. I find drying my hair also half the time. I used to have to blow dry it and then GHD it and now I can just blow dry it in 25 mins which is unheard of for me.

This brush is the best blow dry brushed I’ve used - it dried my hair pretty quickly and the shape of the brush and the fins / bristles meant it really got into the root and had great tension on the hair as I used it which I’ve struggled with previous products. I use it straight from wet but like the fact it also has a dry mode so it feels like I’m not damaging my hair when I’m touching up. It also has an ionics button I put on which really tames my frizz as I have quite fluffy hair!

I bought this styler specifically for the wet and dry function as I love to style from wet but also refresh my look the next day, when my hair is dry. I have long, thick, course hair and it is absolutely perfect for easily drying and styling in one. I no longer have to spend 30 minutes drying my hair and another 40 minutes curling it afterwards! The bristles on the brush also really help to keep the hair smooth. For £80 I think this is an absolute bargain and definitely performs just as well as stylers that cost triple the price! I will be buying my daughters one each for Christmas too, they will love the rose gold/pink colour.

It is too big and you can't use it close to the roots as you'll end up burning your scalp with the ceramic parts, it's a ridiculous design. Don't waste your money, buy some other dryer.
