1kg Mixed Fizzy Sweets Assortment 1kg

I got this package of sweets twice as the first time I was satisfied with the quality and mix of sweets provided (and still am).I had read other reviews that said the sweets were sticky, and many were stuck together and that they weren't happy with them, so I was unsure what to expect. However, the packages that I received only had one or two sweets stuck together, and these were from the same type of sweet (cherries for example), so may have not separated when being added to the packet.I found there were more rainbow laces than I would appreciate, but overall there was a very good mix of jellies with a few fizzy foam sweets (bananas, strawberries) in there as well.A very good mix of tasty (and some were very sour flavoured) jelly sweets for the money, as most pick-n-mix options these days are around £10 per kilo. Happy with the purchase and if the quality remains as it has so far, would be happy to buy again if I'm in the mood for some sugary treats.Even the overabundance of rainbow laces isn't worth taking a mark off, as the general mixture is worth it.

Good value for money

Aa a pretend vegan attempting to show his partner that he cares, its difficult to give 5 stars to a sweet that contains cow brain. As it goes the sweets were pretty much as per the pictures, just missing the fizzy egg and melon so guessing you provide what you have to hand.It possibly doesnt help that I have an allergy to citric acid too. It means pretty much every sweet I have results in socially unacceptable perspiration from my forehead and pits. I love the tangy goodness though. Some sweets not fizzy as such, could be described as being generously covered in sugar to make them look like the fizzy ones.Overall, if there weren't consequences from me eating these I'd buy it again. May opt for a vegan version next time.

It is made with none halal pork gelatin so minus points for that immediately.It is also a good deal for a full KG of sweets but... If you are anything like me you just eat them all in a few days. Not that the mix is anything special. I just have little self control.The mix is however a bit strange. Some of the stuff I wouldn't think even came from the same factory as they differ so greatly in style and taste.The fruit flavours are a bit too artificial for me. Most evident with the citrus flavours such as lemon and lime. I think most people know what I'm talking about that. It's that slight plasticy uniform flavour that you just don't get with whole foods. Not a deal breaker as many do this.Some of the sweets are really good such as the cherry and water melon. They have a good firm texture that gives to a soft but not very chewy body. They also have good amount of coating. Very sour and tasty. I actually prefer these over Haribos and other large name brand snacks. It's just a shame that it's not consistently good.For 7 quid a kg it's defo not the worst thing I've bought, a good deal even. But I would not recommend it personally. I will just nip to the local shop for a big bag of Haribos from now on. Better quality, no wait and you don't pig yourself.

So I can see complaints about them not tasting good by omg did these set my taste buds off, I pulled a face as if eating a lemon! They were amazing. Came with a best before date and the bag was sealed completely!!!! When I'm done with these I'll probably buy more!!!!

These are simply too moreish. They are not as chewy as some fizzies which we like as they are less inclined to get stuck in your teeth! Nor as sour just scrummy with many different flavours - will definitely be ordering more of these 😉

Edible but not worth the money. A couple of the sweets are OK, some feel like reject sweets and others are firmer than I feel they should be.. some have an outright chemical taste which sticks around for ages and is rather unpleasant. They aren't the sweets in the picture they are advertising that's for sure. Buy at your own risk, looks like it can be very hit and miss from the other reviews
