Amazing product..
I suffer daily with heartburn. It hits when eating anything during fmg the day and keeps me awake at night. Sleeoing through the night is impossible. I have tried everything but most products don't recommend you use them long term and some have been found to be harrmful. I have researched all natural remedies and came across this. Since I started using this product, 1 capsule before each meal, I haven't had a hint of heartburn. I am about a week into using this and now sleep through the night without issue Ingrediants are all natural including apple cider vinega8r. You can smell the vinegar immediately upon opening the bottle. I have not changed my diet. I love spicy food, Mexican food, pizza, hot peppers, Italian foods, everything that causes heart burn.. We are early on in using this, but in all my trials, this works better than anything else I've tried that I can use long term without issue. Hope this helps anyone suffering like I do.

No longer available
These worked for me tremendously however the company went out of business and there’s nothing similar. Sad about that.

Works but could be better
It does help keep my acid reflux and heartburn at bay but sometimes it also causes it, even when I drink plenty of water with it. The taste is okay. Bottle size is normal. Natural ingredients. Smell is okay. Easy to use.

RELIEF... Finally...
I have had chronic heartburn for over a year. I've taken every OTC drug for it from Pepcid to Pepto, Nexium 24 to Prilosec...brand name and generic versions of each. I've used Tums, Rolaids, and Peppermint essential oil to ease the burn. I've tried milk, and baking soda water. I've tried the sleep at an angle, don't lay down for 2 hours after eating, don't eat too late, don't wear tight clothes mumbo-jumbo my Doctor told me about. At most, these have worked for short times or haven't helped at all. I was at my wits end when I turned to Amazon for some kind of relief that I hadn't tried. I found Maty's All Natural Acid Indigestion Relief and thought "well, this is a little more than I want to spend, but what the hell, let's give it a try." It fell in a mid range price, and seemed to have decent reviews... so I clicked the button and added it to my cart. Within a day or so the bottle had arrived, and to be honest, I was excited. I was torn between taking it proactively and popping a pill right then and there, or waiting for a flare-up and then taking a pill. I opted for the later, as I fear my body growing immune to it and having it not work. Anywho... when my next episode occurred a day or so later, I took my first pill. Now... I wasnt in the full fledged back of the throat is on fire, let's just cut it out stage of my flare-up; but more in the burping up bile stage. (You know what I am talking about). When I opened the bottle, I was a little surprised at the size of the pill. These pills aren't for pill-popping-pansies. They are fairly large pills (you might want to think twice about buying this product if you have a hard time swallowing pills). Anyway, I took the pill and to be honest...shortly after I took it, I felt like it was lingering in my throat. So I decided to read the instructions (yeah, a little late, I know... but dont judge me) and it says to take the pill with 6 to 8 oz. of water. That's different than my general quick swig of water to flush the pills down. I went back to my cup and proceeded to drink my remaining 7.5 oz. of water. Sure enough, problem solved and that feeling of the pill being stuck went away. Time for results. So normally, I take my antacid wait a few, feel the flare up again, pop a couple tums, wait a few, pop a couple more and then hope for sleep (most of my bouts of heartburn are at night when I go to bed or they wake me from my beauty sleep). But with this pill, I simply took it, chilled sitting up for a few (cause you arent supposed to be laying down during a flare-up) and within a few minutes I felt good enough to lay down.... and the vicious demon heartburn was kept at bay for the rest of my night. It was A-MA-ZING. If you have tried everything else with little to no relief, then it's definitly time to give Maty's a try. I highly doubt you'll be dissatisfied with the results. PS.... not I have not been paid or coerced into writing this review.... I'm just a woman happy to be getting sleep again.

Didn't work for my LPR
Unfortunately these arent working for me. I tried them daily for about 2 weeks but did not see much relief from reflux symptoms. I have a less common kind of reflux called LPR that doesn't always show classic "heartburn" symptoms. I've tried every kind of PPI and H2 blocker along with antacids like Mylanta or Gaviscon. They give me a measure of relief so I can function without chest pain and congestion or excessive throat clearing BUT I am not comfortable with the side effects or long term use dangers especially with PPIs. So I wanted to find something natural without the harmful effects and based on other reviewers who had good results I thought I'd give Matys a try. At 2 weeks, I cant say they're helping as much as the prescription drugs. I had really hoped this would replace Nexium but it doesn't. It might work for others though. Its not that expensive to at least try. I didn't feel any unpleasant side effects while taking these. It just didn't control my type of reflux as well as the prescriptions. I'm working on a healthy lifestyle and diet, lost 25lbs and hope with continued weight loss, I wont need the pills anymore. Mayne once I lose more weight, I'll try these pills again. For now, they're going in the medicine cabinet. Also, like other reviewers said, it's a larger pill and does require a full glass of water to wash it down.

Give it time - it works!
I had terrible heart burn and was taking OTC Prilosec and kept trying to get off of it with no success. I wanted to find something with no long term negative effects and I finally landed on this product. Overall, it works very well, about 90% as good as the Prilosec, which in my case is saying a lot. I still get heart burn on occasion, but it is not nearly as bad as it used to be and it is easily handled with a tums or a glass of milk. The best review I read said to give it a few weeks and to not be discouraged if after a week or two you have heart burn for a few days, which will get better again. If I hadn't have read that review I might have given up when my heart burn came back for a few days. Basically, I think your system needs to adjust to it and you need to figure out what your best dosing schedule will be. I take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening and most of the time I have no heart burn at all. I don't have to sleep at night with my upper body propped up on pillows and I can sleep on my side, even my left side, most nights with no difficulty. (for those of you who don't know, sleeping on the left side causes the acid in your stomach to work its way up, causing heart burn. For whatever reason it's not as bad if you lie on your right side, but I forget the reason why) Of course I will have heart burn if I eat a lot of heart burn inducing foods, but it isn't nearly as bad a before and it is easily handled with a tums or a glass of milk. I love that there are no negative side effects, it doesn't negatively impact your gut bacteria and it is a safe, long term solution. It is definitely worth trying.

Made It Way Worse...
I have struggled with acid reflux/ GERD from ages 22-32. I was on Zantac for a years before they pulled it off the market for having cancer-causing qualities. I then switched to Pepcid, which was not effective. I "upgraded" to PPIs at the recommendation of a doctor before learning how terrible they are for you. Plus, they didn't really work for me. I began gradually weaning off of PPIs, lost a ton of weight, and was doing much better. I would get acid reflux very rarely, like once every few months and when I did I sort of ignored it until it went away. Cut to two weeks ago, when I woke up in the middle of the night with acid reflux. I had eaten about 10 Hershey's kisses before bed so I accepted the consequences of my actions, gargled with baking soda water, and went back to sleep. Only, the reflux didn't stop for two weeks. All day. While standing upright. Forget about eating. Forget about sleeping. You know how it goes- the panicked, desperate internet searches for a product that will get you out of the situation you are in. Reading about "not enough stomach acid" led me to Maty's. On day 1, I took one pill with breakfast and 6 oz of water. Day 2 was one with breakfast and one with dinner. By day 3, I was feeling chest pains that I've never felt before. I honestly felt like I couldn't breath. Even my ears felt full. I stopped taking the Maty's, took a Tums (my first antacid in about 5 years), and I... deflated. Thank god. I'm doing my usual now. No eating after 6 PM, walks after dinner, lots of water, kind neutral food (oatmeal, salads, lean proteins with olive oil, low acid veggies and fruits). It's slowly going away. I don't recommend this product but perhaps you'll have a different reaction. If I've learned anything over the last 10 years it's that your reflux is specific to you and what helps one person may not help another. Good luck.

Very Effective… Very Pleasant to Use… Yet Also Very-Very Natural & Organic (*Gummies)
So… How about a 2024 review, (*Gummies) in which I will also provide an update to the “Do they contain sugar?” question that had been asked and answered, all back in Aug of 2020: I myself have been using these for well over a year now and have, like most everyone else, had great success with them, and would without question recommend them to everyone. I did however just now notice that all of the Aug 2020 dated replies to that “Do they contain sugar?” question that had also been asked in Aug of 2020, (most replies of which also included the ingredients, as of that date/time, of course), are essentially no longer valid due to what appears to be an unquestionable morphing of the formulation since that time. So I wanted to provide a courtesy update. (*Star-date, June 2024). 🤓 Here’s what the ---Gummies--- bottle says now: —————————————————— Maty's Proprietary Blend: Apple Cider Vinegar, Turmeric Root Extract, Ginger Root, Clove Bud Extract Other Ingredients: Tapioca Syrup, Sugar, Maltodextrin, Water, Pectin, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Carnauba Wax Our all natural ingredients may be harvested or mined and then purified. Contains no artificial preservatives, color additives, soy or wheat. >This product is produced in a shared facility< GLUTEN FREE • DAIRY FREE • ALCOHOL FREE —————————————————— For what it’s worth… It does say “Low Sugar“ on one of the infographics included on the current product page that is labeled “Indigestion relief without the bad stuff.“. So, seems more of a trace amount of sugar, than anything that could otherwise be considered substantial. (*Just my two-cents). Once again… Great product… And most certainly a great alternative to many of the other leading branded options in its category. (*Once again... all info here is over the Gummies style). Hope this is helpful to others, moving forward 👊🏻
