Well made. Plug n play Fits nice and sturdy. Makes budget iem sound slightly more open, slightly livelier. Paired with Wavelet, you can really tune your buds how you like them. Everyone has different hearing, obviously, but this opens up the soundstage on most of my monitors. The best thing, is if you're using a low output device, some phones or tablets, it boosts the sound. There's no hum or static, when the music is at lower levels, unlike some other units I've tried. All in all, it's a good piece of kit, and value for the price.

This DAC sounds good and I expected it to. Just like my 3.5 jack on moto budget android phone. No better and no worse. Someone should get this if they think they will like the form factor and not because of sound whatsoever. They all are a higher resolution than we can percieve. I've done hours of back to back testing with hi res and some DACs. All sounded and measured exactly the same. This kiwi ears one was no exception along with my 3.5 jack measuring and sounding exactly the same. Hi res through DACs with bypassing Android audio gave zero improvement no matter what DAC. Now this DAC fit my medium normal thickness case. I tried it on another 1 piece case I like and it barely fit. With my current one there is tiny clearence. With the other one it snapped in and there was no clearance. It sat flush right up against the phone. I tried on a 2 piece case and it didn't snap in it was too thick. So this will work on all low profile cases and should work with most 1 piece normal medium thickness cases. Bulky cases will likely not work with the case on. Unless modifying or something. It would be nice to see accomodation for even the bulky cases. This is a good option if someone needs 3.5 and doesn't mind the form factor with how you hold your phone. It will sort of block pinky support. This will probably outlast most wired dongle DACs just for not having a wire. The build quality is nice and it is pretty small. You can reverse it if you want the cable on the other side as I tested that out also. Of course it's capable of incredibly high resolution beyond our hearing so there is no problem with sound. This DAC absolutely does not color your music or make it sound cold and analytical or anything like that. None of that is true as it measured identically to my 3.5 or any other DAC I have measured and sounds exactly the same in every aspect and way. It's transparent and does it's job just fine. The price is fair and I appreciate that about it and it should last a very long time I would think. The 4.4 end I believe puts out the same power as 3.5. You would have to go to their pro model to get even more power from the 4.4 I believe. I don't have 4.4 anything so I couldn't test that. This should power any IEM just fine with no problems. The things to consider is the form fact, a positive but also a posible negative too. And whether it will fit your case. If you have a 1 piece normal looking case it should be okay. It may cut very close like it did on the other 1 piece I mentioned. Bulky 2 piece are likely out of luck. And I wouldn't want to remove my case to use it every time either. Overall I like it and the price is good and the power should be more than enough for earphones. Your not being completely taken with this one.

È un ottimo DAC da abbinare con buone cuffie; molto comoda la possibilità di avere sia l'entrata da 3,5 che da 4,4 nello stesso adattatore
